I was hit by two cars street racing I did nothing wrong I was trying to make a simple left turn on my motorcycle. I have to learn to walk again. Please never give up. It's a long road, But they all come to an end.
Same here I once got into a bad accident almost broke my neck and paralyzed. I will always praise God for protecting me on all of my rides. All MRIs, CAT SCAN and X-Rays came out negative. I never gave up of what I love to do in cycling and be out there enjoying the outdoor and having fun riding with your friends. Don’t give up riding. Take as much time to heal up and recover and stay safe. Prayers up for your speedy recovery ❤️🩹 God Bless 🙏
I’m not giving up riding. I love it too much but I’m totally ok with moving it all onto Rouvy. There is no denying how unsafe it is to ride in Vegas. Even since my accident, I have a numerous friends hit by cars too. It’s so sad. 😢

Ohh I hope you’re ok. It always makes me sad to know of this happening to someone else. I had the halo removed last week and physical therapy starts today. Not sure how long it will be before I can turn my head but the good thing is I don’t have four bolts screwed into my head anymore so I can handle anything from here on out!
Vegas does nothing for cyclists to be able to safely ride in places that aren’t the road. It’s disgusting and you should move to a city with real cycling infrastructure or lobby for more cycling friendly infrastructure. Cyclists shouldn’t have to be in painted gutters or in the road. Best wishes with your recovery
Totally agree! We have the Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition advocating for safer roads for cyclists, but it's a tough challenge because we need a culture shift to really be ok here. At least they are doing good work on helping get more bike trails around the city. I suppose the baby steps are better than nothing.

This is why 100% of my riding is in the world of Zwift. Here in Vegas the drivers don't give a damn about you being on a bike. Get well soon.
They should. It happens too much. But at the same time you should never let your guard down as a cyclist. There’s not much more cyclists can do though
