Usually, when a new actor replaces another in the same role, well, it usually takes a few episodes before I can accept them. But I remember when Laura Weight came on board, she was perfect--the perfect essence of Carly instantly! I don’t think this has ever before been true for me.😊 #generalhospital

There’s really no reason to play this “which Carly “ was better game. Because Laura , Sarah and Tamara legit were all phenomenal and played Carly perfect for each stage of Carly’s life!
Sarah - was young, angry immature Carly... with a lot of love and heart.
Tamara was the Carly growing up and maturing and coming into her own as a mother and wife.
Laura : is the mature Carly. Still has that Carly edge... but she’s more grown up , and Laura plays that perfectly. Showing th audience how Carly has grown over the years.
They were all nominated for Emmys multiple times for playing Carly. (Sarah won two or three emmys as Carly. Laura has one, and Tamara didn’t win as Carly but won for days)

Absolutely they power couple .when they not together as couple the movie less interested to watch .sunny is a superstar on his role as a mob boss . Any other role sunny play is less interesting to watch
Laura is the definitive Carly for me. Even though she didn't originate the character. She came in a made Carly who she is. She's perfect in the role.

It have been a fan of this show for years......i lost touch because Im from the Caribbean and our cable stations are crappy but im watching the reruns on UA-cam and oh my god I am hooked.......i love love love sonny so much.....at his age the man is still slamming hot.....damn!!!......carly I love you too.....you and sonny are the super couple .......i will always root for both of you......you belong with each.
I’m trying to remember the names, but my fav Sonny/Carly moment was during the siege of the Metro Court when the two of them are taken into a back room and they profess their love for each other.
All 3 Carly did a great job. Sarah, Tamara And Laura. They took the roll in different Ways .
It was definitely 5 times Sonny and Carly got married. The first two times was when Sarah Brown was playing Carly (the first time was for helping Sonny not get sent to prison so that Carly can't testify against him and the second time was in Martinique to renew their vows). Third time was with Tamara Braun. And the last two times was with Laura Wright although the fourth time in 2007 was done the same way as the first time.

What awesome talent
Every Carly was great accept that one Carly we don't talk about. Sarah Brown plays a young Carly, Tamara Braun plays Carly coming into woman hood, Laura Wright plays a seasoned Carly they all played Carly at different stages in her life. So it's three different takes but they are all Carly at her core.

I still think Laura's work from 2008-2010 when Michael got shot and went to jail is some of the best acting I've ever seen in Daytime. Sonny's best is too many to count (even his mid 90s work is underrated, and nothing replaces Sonny and Brenda), but Laura's sadness with all of what happened with Michael is CRAZY. It's still hard to watch.
This is so fascinating to me. I’m able to see how much skill goes into your work. Growing up wanting to be an actor is obviously not as it seems. You’re so talented and it seems to be a multitasking job mentally.
Great actors with great plot line with family centered drama-ageism, caretaker, parenthood, and sandwich generation.

I know. The fans were such a-holes to her. I remember Maurice stuck up for her and praised her for bringing a certain depth to the character but she never really got a chance to develop it.
She was terrible to be honest. She couldn't act. Plus, she was on for like 5 minutes lol
@@TaraConway16 I think the little bit of time she had on screen, she proved she can act. But my favorites will always be Sarah and Tamara. It's really in order of how they came on screen and who I got attached to. I don't watch GH anymore. I remember watching it from high school into adult years, then one day I realized "ain't nobody got time for this" lol. 5x a week and I had sooooo many episodes backed up...just finally had to let it go. But, great memories of beloved characters!

I like Sonny before Carly. He had more funnier moments. I loved Sonny and Taggerts onliners back in the late 90s. Now Sonny is a angry bully. They treated their son Morgan like they treat AJ like absolute garbage. Like both actors but not together.

I absolutely love Laura. I mean I watch this show for her and mo... but Sara is phenomenal. I love the character of Carly as well. Sara is just such a fearless actress. I love them both so much, but I have to say sjb is the best. But I have zero complaints about Carly. It's like comparing chocolate and Carmel. Lol. They are both fantastic.

Unless Sonny gets arrested and his mafia past comes back to hunt him...along with the KGB Judges that will pretend to rehabilitate him. Whom else would approve weed in the USA...nobody but the KGB in all their forces and faces and professions. I'm sure they get free credit and credit cards...pretending is not difficult apparently. I think Carly cares about being like but sooner is about respect and projects it right back to those that challenge her with disrespect. Which is a very naive place to be too. I still think that its Sonny the adopted son trying to assume the role of the biological son whom is not present yet...so the issues are sooner Sonny suffers from alzheimers due to his not so honest mafioso past. And the father is attempting to role play Sonny out of that role or advice him to seek help...but role playing. So, little does Carly know she has her hands full..both with the child and Sonny's Alzheimers. Why does an action or behavior take on a moralistics or idealistic and take a qualitative value if indeed perhaps it was based responsibility and posterity. For example, your child with Sonny had health issues but not your child with Ingo the Austratlian Surfer...hahaha (Right out of a Romance Novel...haha). So compatibility and noncompatibility is an issue...with those you are not compatible you may need to send them off to have children with someone with whom they are compatible...even if you're married. And you raise you instead have your children with someone with whom you are compatible. Good Health and wellness is important and prioritized. I'm making up words now, haha...a disaction might be making a dicision that is not well thought out and perhaps based on a whim that leads to perhaps an STD, cancer or incompatibility. However, I do think the pool apparently leads to some incompatibility but could also naturally lead to discompatibility based on choices not thought about well or ignored. Does this sound like biology 101...haha Now an STD you can acquire from anything, dont be fooled. You dont need to have sex to get an STI. There are no rules about Alzheimers....its a last resort diagnosis. Its not like parkinsons...haha So yah, its like a bag of party favors and each one is different and each one has its redeeming qualities because we're not from Colombia...ahaha Sure Colombia is a different country with different geography and a different language and different currency..haha To get there, you need to get on a plane....prior you should've bought a ticket...and there you will get in line and they will make you very create appointments the way the KGB like it...and for each appointment you will be missing something so the appointment failed...kinda like visiting the Netherlands.....and buying a metro ticket that took 4 hours to buys and an interrogation and shout down...hahaha A vending machine can do the same....except that you get to tilt...haha Its not like Italy where everything is a buffet. I think Florida had a buffet cycle...hahaha Its not like the UK where you are charged twice as much. Or like Germany, they dont have anything you want to buy....I think..haha
