Thanks for watching everyone! This is sort of like the first in a trilogy of videos I'm working on related to updates for this project. Next video is being edited, and should be ready within the next week or so. It covers the process of building the trailer. I'm also experimenting with some higher power motors, giving CTC 01 builders options for more power. Of course that process has proved to be more time consuming and complex than expected, but that's just life. 😆
Almost ready to do this to my Freightliner model (Optimus Prime). Love me some 80's Snub-Noses. Great build and continuation of the series. I apparently need to go back as I missed the trailer build?
My biggest rc mistake: Made an entire build and finished it and on forst testfrive I realised I had glued the indicator leds in wrong... when blinking right the rear flashes in both sides and blinking left makes both front liggts flash... and wires and everything is glued inside the body and is impossible to change without a big teardown and rebuild...😅😂
Plastic isn't as easy to break by flexing as you may think, especially if it's a flexible type of plastic in the first place. In fact, some of the RC car manufacturers use this as a cheap approach to the suspension system.

love this build, so much work in designing and testing , looks amazing
Keep the tiny wrenches turning, awesome!
That truck looks sweet!👌😎👍nicely done!✅
Great job on the gmc general this truck would be so cool with a smoke system ❤

You could put motors in the engine to make it more realistic.
Plastick springs cant handle the stress. will flex bto much an snap. Go metal there to better result.
