I get the disconected from server message every time in wow client
Got the same error and fixed it. Make sure you click "Apply Changes" when you set up the port forwarding. That tripped me up. Otherwise, make sure the 2 ports are not blocked by firewall or antivirus.

hmm stuck on the port forwarding section for tp-link, their videos aren't that helpful. wont let me ad an eight digit port forward
Question. All these programs need stay open when I play my private offline server? Other question. I no have a rooter. Just wifi from my cellphone😅😅 grettings from Argentina !
yes they all have to stay open. yes, you can play offline. when you play offline just skip the router and DNS stuff.
For offline, all you have to do is download to your laptop, open the server, and connect to server with a client that has realmlist set to 127.0.0.1

Something I'll try. As I'm not logging into a router at all I'll just skip this step and continue on with the video and see if it works anyway. (maybe it's just an extra step i don't need because I'm not using a router)

I got a server working. I had to deal with the 'twist' to get IP stuff bc it kept kicking me out with the Warden.

I went over this video and the other, but for some reason i cant find a world database file that i can change drop rates and xp rates etc.
Not sure why mine is slightly different, everything else works great tho so ty.

How do I open to the login screen?
You need to download the game client separately from the server software. They are not usually bundled together.
