Yeah, except, in my opinion, Murano is a really uninteresting, lame, stupid and annoying character that brings literally nothing to the story. Kana was much better. Not the brightest one, but much much more interesting. I would prefer Murano being killed and Kana staying alive.

It perfectly complements the psychological themes of the anime.

They've made a lot of songs that I liked without realizing it was them, like the first ending of Hunter x Hunter and the soundtrack in the PES game. I just discovered this recently.
I think most animes look for a song that fits the show, while on occasion commissioning a theam song. I wish American show studios would put as much effort into music openings as Japanese studios do.
