@guitargod1598 well a jr wouldn't be my first choice for a remodeling guitar, the veneer is so thin its very easy to poke a hole through it. But a schecter strat seemed pretty good. They run about $110
@guitargod1598 epiphone and Gibson is a huge battle of what us better, when it comes down to it, Gibson is a whole lot better. Epiphone is cheaper than Gibson yes, but its because epiphone uses cheap imported electronics. And the wood isn't solid, its plywood that was glued together land the tops seem smooth, bit its because of a plastic veneer they put on top. Gibson is also American made. Epiphone is China/Japan/Korea.
@VilleShadows thanks you for this info. i hope to find a decent one of these in the near future, they might be cheap import student crap i still like these jrs. please let me know if you come across anything really cheap, im talkin like $100 or less guits, that you think is worth the time to fix or upgrade. thanks
@VilleShadows thanks man, ill see what happens with my next project. ya never know what youll find around, could be somthin good anywhere.
