- In the UK, Prime Video will show all fifteen games, RTE will show all Ireland games and Premier Sports will bring all other games to viewers in Ireland. In France TF1 will show all France games and L’Equipe will offer fans access to the other nations games, and in Italy, Sky Italia will continue its support of rugby by showing all games.

Utterly thrilling game of rugby. Both teams showcased what they are capable of and highlighted parts of the game that need some work. The whole point of these warmups.
I did fear for Scotland, playing in 27c temperatures are not what we are used to. They would be much happier with 7c and pissing wet😂.
We’re never happy in the pissing wet but we just have to get on with it 😂

Kinghorn adds a dimension to Scotland that they haven't had from 15 (sorry Hoggy) in a while. His pace and physicality gave France fits.
I'd still like Hogg in the squad, he's a terrific player and would have been priceless to have on the bench. It's a shame he's injured, and I hope Scotland don't miss him too much. Good luck to Scotland, the most improved Test XV over the past few years, you've had way more than your fair share of bad luck in the past.
Agree Hoggy was great in his day but he knew himself he wasnt there anymore, Kinghorn constantly jabbing at the defensive line with that pace behind him is brilliant to watch

according to me the first French try was valid...the referee could have asked for the video, he rushed...well, that's the game, refereeing is sometimes imperfect. this in no way detracts from the good performance of the scottish. that was a realy good match!
Mate he should've issued Villere a yellow card for his tackle on Russell after the quick tap. Not to mention the pen on Darge for being "too long" was a complete joke. Darge had both feet on the floor, lock on the ball it should've been a Scottish pen. T

Two french tackles within about 5m after Finn took that quick tap penalty.
Exactly the same as the one Scotland got a yellow for. No consistency

Sean Edwards will not be impressed 😂 it looks like any side that runs at the French backs will have lots of success. Scotland look really good to me and play a superb open game. Beat France very nearly at their own game which creates such exciting Rugby. Brilliant match. Then look at the bulldozers in Twickenham..
Can't believe the referee gave the decision against Scotland when the French deliberately collapsed the maul at 27-27...Still a great game...

France pace was too much for Scotland but they love their fightbacks.
Disappointed to hear ntamack injury. Jalibert will be a good playmaker cover but will need to quicky create automatisms with Dupont.

Scotland’s attack is as good as anyone’s right now. Their defence in my opinion needs work, in particular Blair Kinghorn, who is world a class attacking winger, was ineffective in 2 of the French tries

@@karlosdeevs Actually the personnel look pretty much the same for France as they do for NZ. The current NZ look an awful long way from a mighty 'All Blacks' team. My money is still on France to beat NZ. If the French get their tails up, it might not even be close.
Before the 2nd Scotland try, I feel 13 blue is not releasing… why no penalty there ?
The white tackler did not release after the tackle before going for the ball.
u can see penaud scrambling to grab the ball but he misses and is just pulling back on Huw Jones' arms not the ball as Jones is trying to present the ball it looks likes he's not releasing but really Penaud is just grabbing his arms and not the ball. By the time he starts to grab the ball Scotland clear out the ruck. So its not not releasing and a valid try

Why are you commenting something you're no clue on? You feels bright? France started fully preparation with their entire forces available only since start of july, like one month ago.
And it only was since physical demolition to prepare them at endure, what they think and hope to be a long Journey for the Big Trophy (even if now with N'tamack missing and Baile too, we're already walking on dead alley).
French haven't started yet to play game and work on automatisms, and all people following rugby know how France can be unpredictable and dangerous when fully playing. But for that, you need time to adjust, work collectively for work on simple things as on "disorder attack spreading out of nowhere", kind of what France is capable of when at full power.
Scotland has this side too. Only brittanic likes to play like that.
This is why they bother France way more than others.
Scottish done that since one and half month prior, and they're on way more advanced stage of their preparation now than France.
France were exhausted and completely shut down on both games (pretty unusual for a team also way known for his late finishing and come-backs, same as Scotland in this case, and this is why they usually did too..) about 60 minutes him, allowing Scotland to perform their best on how they know to do it.
Both tests just show than Scotland will be even more dangerous than expected, but said nothing about France.
Except they were able of fully dominate Scotland on some periods of game, even on B team, while not being ready at all to do so following the schedule.
I'm not sure if it's really great sight for Scotland in fact if they want to step on biggest SH countries or Ireland.

I'm wondering if I can understand this game from just watching it. I'm beginning to doubt it. On the one hand it seems simple, then all these inexplicable things happen.
When you are on the ground with the ball, is it still your teams possession always?
Why do you call a goal a "try"? I mean you have actually scored. Tradition I guess, anything else?
When you score a goal you get to keep control of the ball?
What is the point of a "scrum"?
What happens out of sight?
It looks like the team that ends up with the ball is predetermined.
The pile barely seems moves at all. Are they pushing or just hanging there?
When and why do you kick the ball and it remains in play?
When and why do you kick the ball and it leaves the field of play?
Why do you keep possession when you kick it out of bounds?
When and why do you kick the ball for points?
That thing after the ball goes out of bounds, or some such, where everyone lines up and they lift players up to get the ball. Why?
Aren't there simpler ways to get the ball in play?
What are fouls and penalties?
What plays score points and what are the points for each type of play?

Why did Ollivon on final play get away with playing Scottish jumper in the air and then collapsing the scrum from the floor?
I am so sad to see Ntamack off the pitch. I would have loved to see the combo of Dupont and Ntamack as a half back pairing in the World Cup.
We're they are dominant pairing in the 2019 World Cup? I can't remember but lost our in the Quarter Finals thanks to one Vahamahina who elbowed that Welsh okey in the head.
Dumb dumb dumb. Hopefully we will see a France Semi Final and that's from a South African supporter. Only in the first year South Africa joined the Rugby World Cup tournament in '95 did SA play France in a playoff match. South Africa has never played France in a playoff since.
I would like to see a South Africa France final. Although I would prefer if South Africa don't make it this year for France to claim the trophy and put their name on it FOR THE FIRST TIME. They have a fantastic team.

Forward pass on Scots first try
there are so many forward passes, just all the time, i find it so distracting but i guess they want to invent spectacle that isnt there, as though we are children...therell be a lot of adjustment needed from the players if these new chipped robot balls, being introduced at international level in the near future, actually work as advertised, taking the human error out of the equation and automatically telling the ref when a forward pass has been played...tho if they feel so strongly about it that they direct refs to let it go they will no doubt invent the forward pass algorithm, keeping us forever on the edge of our seats

Nobody mentions too long as 2:30. The commentator uses the word 'canny' to reference the cunning of the French player to push the play forward & steal some extra space.

yh no its not the camera isn't directly overhead so it looks slightly forward and even at that angle there's an argument that its flat. However, if u look at the line marks on the pitch u can see where the ball is thrown and where it is caught and its not forward

their 13 should be red carded our number 16 rory passed the ball and didn't have it then their 13 thinks its ok to tackle his back like that. Dangerous play again from france and could have easily been giving red how Nic berry didn't even think about it is appauling and there needs to be action taken its not fair for teams to do that france play dirty and that ref let them! Poor reffing and was in frances favour.
