You are easy to follow and your ideas are great. Just a tip, I have switched to lavender Epson salt instead of rice to avoid bugs. And it gives it a good smell.

I know what you mean...I went to Joann's the other day to buy some fur and the lady didn't listen to me about cutting it...so now I paid for extra that I have to cut off...fur was everywhere. If you flip it upside down and just cut the liner part, nothing happens to the fur. This faux fur isn't cheap either! Happy gnomeing :-)

If you scoop the rice into the cup first then stretch the sock around the lip of the cup then pour, you won't spill.

Right! I had to adjust it when the lady went to cut mine because I hate paying for something that isn't useable

I purchased my fur at Hobby Lobby in the fabric department Walmart does sell it but it is not as good of quality
