Used to love listening to Sherezade when she was at the University of Illinois She was younger then, but had that lovely, clear, controlled voice so great for Baroque music.

The purity of this voice stopped me in mid sentence. Clarity like this is rare.

I heard her at a recent performance of the Messiah in Philadelphia- it was the most true and pure soprano baroque performance I have ever heard. She was the clear standout of the evening, no one else compared. Like listening to a voice across time.
