Studying the korean war history, the context of the song...
Absolute masterpiece of a song, a rollercoaster of emotions, but is it ok to want to cry from start to end?

Juche isn't separate from communism. Communism doesn't just branch only from Marx and Lenin and leave everything else separate. Juche applied to Korea in order to try and not become reliant on other nations and become strong itself.

Oh come on, South Korea is not under embargo. I am veteran of embargo imposed by USA, it was horror. Army had to feed us, by throwing bread and milk at crowd that fights for food. DPR Korea is doing just fine under embargo, making progress, and is able to humiliate USA.

I'm late replying... but I need to after reading that... "When communism collapsed, Korea would have abandoned it...". You mean like Vietnam did? Like China did? Like Laos did? Communism collapsed in Europe, not in Asia, and I bet Korea wouldn't have been any different.

RIP for a leader, but I do hope that things can change and North would slowly start to communicate with the South and the rest of the world again. Most in the north would not want to do it but with so many poor people I am not sure if they could survive as a country for the next decade unless if things gradually change for the better.

CH_Linguistics_Utube UA-cam you know nothing about “dictatorial”. Singapore, a first-world country in fact is a dictatorship led by Lee family through 3 generations just like North Korea. Single-party state is authoritarian and totalitarian, not dictatorship, stupid.

I'm interested in whether Laos actually abandoned Marxism-Leninism and if I were a believer I would pray with all my heart like Paul Robeson for a correction in PRC with a return to Marxism-Leninism, Mao-Zedong-Thought, and an all-encompassing economic plan that actually implements a full socialist planned economy with minimal markets and a firm opposition to colonialism.
With so much vile corruption around Xi Xinping, Jack Ma, Ren Zhengwei and the other elites of CPC and PLA, its going to take some very brutal cleaning within the limits of socialist legality including PRC's Constitution and Single Constitutionally-Based System of Law to FORCE that correction! Don't worry, a ca ira! There's more than enough material contained on various leading intelligence personalities for some profoundly efficacious Information Warfare against the monstrous Organized Criminals, Fascists, and Colonialists of the US and their quisling Colonial Collaborators in the PRC Leadership! The Cold War has already been won, the "Who's Who" of the Criminal Colonialist Elite is now better known than ever before, and it's time for them all to face the full consequences of their actions under US Law, International Law, and the Laws of other Nations as far as they are applicable.

all the commodities you enjoy are a result of american "exploitation and imperialism" as you like to call it. You take your liberties for granted. The DPRK is one of the most oppressive regimes in history. Try this, reporters without borders ranked north korea 177 out of 178 when it comes to freedom of press. And you're complaining about american imperialism and exploitation? Good job on your priorities!
