15:56 Are you sure these are nut picks, I think they are shellfish crackers. BTW: If the Danish ones say Georg Jensen they are as collectible as Tiffany's.
Shellfish in England is hard to come by. If theyre from Portugal or Spain, I have seen similar in Portugal, they serve both purposes. Honestly though all my elders always used their palms (crushing method or a key). The key method lends credibility to the tools being a nut cracker.
Those 'marks' or 'stamps' are HALMARKS. There are a lot of items made which have hallmarks. They give the year and place the item was made in. There are books to correlate the hallmarks with years and place. Its mostly for silver items.
I believe you are using that "olive hook" incorrectly. It looks like it is used to pit olives rather than just grabbing them and holding them. Just my opinion. Love your videos!
Plot twist: taras is a Russian spy sent to America to spy on them but, he loved it so much he betrayed Russia and is now living a quiet, happy life with his huskies
Haven’t seen this before I had recommendations lead me. noticed you do lots of reviews on things A coffee and a warm blanket mmmm what about the comfy oversized hoodie to go with that

You’re supposed to infuse the tea in the pot, then use the strainer when you pour from the teapot
;-;
Dah
What i came to say
I love how he is using like 7 times the regular amount of tea leaves you need to make this kind of tea😂😂
😃😃😃
Found the Brit
Taras favors the Earl Gray tea and peppered Spam
Russians like strong tea
I think he just fills them to the top, smaller container, Less tea. Large strainer... whole tin!
Safety? Welcome back to my kitchen?
You put tea in a tea pot ,then pour it through the strainer
Was going to say the same thing. Also the marks on the strainers are hallmarks, probably Sterling Silver.

6:51 is a pitter.
Agreed. I immediately thought cherry or olive pitter.
I was watching this with my mom and had to explain it to her
Agreed
Dah
You’re a childhood memory I forgot all about 😳
5:52 "The strainer is very cutesy," also it's good for people who like tea leaves in their tea 🍵☕😂
I actually appreciate how thorough he was in testing and showing each piece!
And now I want each one for myself! 😁
The long pick is for bone marrow...it used to be a thing eating the bone marrow
The olive picker upper is actually an olive pitter. The olives you had were already pitted and stuffed.
I was going to post the same thing... !!! ;-)
Ditto
Anyone else love gajjicks as much as me???
😃😃😃
😃😃😃
I like the very uneek ones.
'its made of handmade.'
5:14 may be an absinthe spoon. Pouring over loose leaf tea isn't very popular.
Could be noticed this to. Also making tea with leaf in a pot or pan then pouring from the pot with strainer on top of cup to catch leafs possibly.
Depending on tea brewing times and temperatures are different so definitely wouldn't work on a lot of loose leaf tea
The tea should go in the pot and then poured over these things to catch the leaves.
What a good way to sleep, watching a good russian man doing kitchen gadgets videos😌😌

Have similar ones that are used for shellfish
I think the lil blades at the end are oyster knives.

Those stamps are called hallmarks, and they tell you a lot about the manufacturer/maker, along with metal content.
Ion know why but his vids are so calming
Your olive fork is a cherry pit remover...

I believe you are using that "olive hook" incorrectly. It looks like it is used to pit olives rather than just grabbing them and holding them. Just my opinion. Love your videos!
Thats what I thought but I didn't really go all the way through an olive and the small one are usually always pitted.

Really love this gajiks, very interesting video Taras :))
you realize a hundred years ago was only 1920? your thinking of 200 years ago...
The 3rd strainer looks like an Absinthe sugar cube tray.
I think it's to be used from a teapot. Strain excess tea leafs from the teapot.
"Next Level"
If an olive picker existed century ago, there must be bottles full of olives!!! really!!
Nice video!
🤔 I'd be using them a lot if they were still produced.
You must like Earl Grey tea, good choice.
