We are up to Big Kilowatt hours, expandable to 48kWh. If you ran only critical loads (critical loads are NOT washing machines , dryers, electric stoves, and HVAC units) in an average size home 48k would last for days if cloudy outside. The idea is we may lose some of our creature comforts but not all. With this simple plug and play system a person could kick back easily when the grid goes down. No reason for anyone to not be just little prepared, if you have no electrical wiring back ground.
That's not realistic for most because that's with the purchase of multi units with two extra batteries each. If that's what your after than the Delta Pro ultra would be better with 90kwh maxed out and 50amp output at 240 which could power your home.
I ordered the regular Delta two weeks ago from Amazon and UPS lost it somewhere in Atlanta.
Wowww I am sorry to hear that. Maybe it was all for a reason. If you get your money back. Then you can upgrade to the new Delta Pro 3
Hubby and I are taking the plunge and getting one tomorrow the delta pro ultra with the smart home panel. Expensive but worth it. We live where there are hurricaines so it is a good idea..
