I LOVE finish it Friday - because I'm BAD bad bad about finishing anything!!! I've used this idea since Patreon and it works for watercolor classes, collage pages started and abandoned - just everything!!!! So glad to see you continuing it - it also works for my household to give me some art time because it's Finish it Friday!!!! So again, thank you for this!!! I've been more productive because of it.

I couldn't help but reply regards the issue with AI image generating:
I hope you stay in solidarity on the side of creatives as you are a creative yourself.
Book illustrators are already losing potential gigs because most writers and publishers are opting to use AI generated images for their book covers.
There's also the WGA strike where, yes there's more issues as to their reason for striking, but one of the reasons is because they specifically tried to negotiate that their written work be not used on AI writing apps but the studios refuse to come to an agreement and plan on using writer's works for generating future content with AI for their episodes.
Ontop of that, most AI grifters are already regurgitating so much slop on Etsy and Kickstarter virtually overshadowing actual creators that try to make a living off of their art. I suppose you're not feeling it yet because you have enough audience that directly support you and order from your shops, but those with little following are losing to the noise made by AI generated images.
AI generative pieces won't be even this disruptive if they didn't scrape (steal) from all of us who put in the work initially. It's very unethical at its current state.
AI can now also take on your likeness and make content out of you without your consent. So it's a bit dangerous to use this tech while it's still not regulated and pushed to be ethical.
I definitely agree that AI should have been developed to help humans do things we hate doing so we can have more time expressing ourselves and creating things. This is some late stage capitalist nightmare that's very anti skilled labor. So i hope you reconsider with doing a playtest using AI...unless you're fine with people monetizing off of the things you generate too because AI generated pictures aren't protected by copyright 😅
It's really a tough time for artists but hopefully the artists that are fighting for our rights win in current congress hearings in US and EU. 🤞
