very sad indeed. I hope they can repair that building. also a good lesson to drivers decrease your speed, quit crashing into 100 year old buildings
@@kskeel1124 nothing surprises me. Too any crazies behind cars
0:27 The video from this perspective perfectly shows how this happened. The truck came into that descending curve with too much speed. I've heard that there were previous incidents with vehicles striking the building. The county should have lowered the speed limit in that curve and better yet install a speed trap permanently to deter drivers from not taking the speed limit seriously.
Lower the speed limit
I concur
Someone misjudged that curve hitting that poor building
Say that accident yesterday,
If they set up a go fund me. Please do a follow up story announcing it
slow your ass down, out of all the houses to hit, he hit the oldest one
Honestly, sometimes bad things happen and it's an opportunity to restart better. A new building further off the road is what I would want to do. The state should put up a guard rail also.
Can't get much further off the road. Have you been there? Penn Cove is very near, with another road between them.
@@rrrjjj5572 Well a new location might be a better option then. Or if it is off the road enough that guard rail might be enough.
That's tragic. Truly a great loss. But I do wonder what happened to the driver?
The driver was rescued by a brave bystander right before the truck exploded. This piece never mentioned the driver once.
