me too !! i wish more queens/celebrities in general could embrace their natural selves :/ it makes me feel so sad that so many people feel the need to chnage themselves, sometimes to the point where they're unrecognizable from their past self

So much has been appropriated from the gay and drag community through certain celebs and pop culture that people think someone else started it. Tho they’ve been doing contouring and highlighting in Hollywood since it 1st started. Visibility and normalization is key. And let’s not forget drag, like so much else was started by black people, and POC! And a certified MUA, makeup is not about looking natural, as there’s no rules within makeup (just guidelines), but light and shadow. That’s it lol. And as a gay man, no makeup is not just for women. Just as pants are not just for men, or long hair is not just for women, and same with voting, a career outside the home or equality!
