I really like that dude! You did a great job, especially missing the 'big power tools'. The pattern on the head and the paint detail on the handle ties together nicely 👉👉👉. 😎
Thank you for your feedback, Eugene! :) In Eastern Europe this model is widely used, but I think it is found all over the world with small variations. You can try at a flea market!
Good job on the axe head. Love the way it turned out. To me, the handle does not seem proportionally right somehow. Maybe a little too 'chunky.' Anyway, subscribed and liked as a result of this video.
Thank you 🙏Yes it would look much better with hot bluing, but it requier thermic treatment which should be done perfect, otherwise it will compromise the axe😉
Sir,you did a good job at making a handle.but blades like that are more of a hatchet style.they were used for shaping a tree into a beam.the handle was slightlbent outwards so you didn't rap your knucklesagainst the wood.but good job.
Try and stay away from spray painting metal that is going to be used in contant work. It makes the application irrelevant and kinda pointless. Unless it's a decorative piece. Other than that I like the preservation of the stamp it's always nice to keep small pieces of history no matter how small it may seem.
Thank you for your feedback, Ben!🙏 I already used it several times and the paint in those tiny holes is untouched till now😉 But you are right, the paint is verry sensitive on contact spots
You were doing great…right up until you used spray paint on that axe. Bad choice. Paint chips and peels off. You would’ve been much better off blueing that dimpled steel center. That would’ve made it look much better, and not so cheap.
DUDE!!!!! Super nice job on that piece!!!
Beautiful!
Thanks Adkasme :)
I like it a lot!
Thank you, John!
Very cool
Handle is still a little square. Keep practicing. Axe head is beautiful. Video is very good. Thanks for posting your art.
Thank you🙏
VERY AWESOME!!!
Wow that turned out nice. I always like watching someone that doesn't have all the fancy equipment but still does a tremendous job like you. Thanks
Thank you, Glen! I'm glad that you like it🙏

I personally think a complete wood finish on the haft would have been nicer looking, but overall, great job.
Thank you :)
That came out great!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear that :)

Great video, what kind of vinegar and oil did you use?
Thank you!🙏 Just regular vinegar and linseed oil😉
Very nicely done 👍 your project turned out fantastic. Love the detailing you did on the head. Great work.
Thank you, Austeration! 🙏
I have an axe much older than that,I’ve only changed the handle and head 17 times,it’s a true historical piece.
I agree :)
superr🤙🤙
Thank you!
Awesome. Great job. I subscribe right away! 👍👍👍
Thank you for your feedback! :)

Thank you, John! You are so kind! :)
Don’t like the black paint - defeats the whole process of sanding and the linseed oil.
Good boy, I wondered if you would deal with the crack
Yes I did :)
The axe turned out great. Good job. I have been looking for ax heads like that and have not had any luck. Where can someone get then?
Thank you for your feedback, Eugene! :) In Eastern Europe this model is widely used, but I think it is found all over the world with small variations. You can try at a flea market!
Try EstateSales and stuff like that too
🤝🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What were the liquids used in the job?
Vinegar, linseed oil, water, degreaser, spray paint, wood glue 😉
You weren’t kidding…..the results were unexpected
I am not a liar😅
What type of vinegar is this?
Just regular wine vinegar ;)

Thank you for your feedback, Costa! Wish to you all the best :)
For what are those bamboo sticks?
To fill holes left by nails or wooden worms! They don't have to be necessarily bamboo, but I used them because I had them and they fit well! :)
Wonderful job.. If you burn it at the end, I think would be better than black spraying.. Wouldn't it!!!
Thank you 🙏Yes it would look much better with hot bluing, but it requier thermic treatment which should be done perfect, otherwise it will compromise the axe😉

Ok! Thank you for your feedback, Randy!😉🙏

Thank you!
Where is the restoration?
You can find it in the title, third word😉
It s an old romanian axe , from Bocsa factory .
You're right🙂

Am si eu unu la fel...Dar la cat am ascutit la el ...mai are 1,5 cm latime lama 😂..
Mai ține câțiva ani😅

Blueing it was definitely a better option, I will have many opportunities to work better in the future projects! Thank you for your feedback ;)
That's not a splitting axe that's a bearded combat axe ....
😅
IM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS *CLICK* *NOISESSSSS*
Sorry :)
This is not 'restoration'.
