I ofcourse can’t relate to the level of overwhelmed you must be feeling bc of your occupation but I also like totally understand how the pandemic elevates anxiety levels and thus makes it a lot easier to feel overwhelmed like very overwhelmed often, that’s what I’ve been dealing with as well and it didnt come off as ungrateful at all I think it’d be weirder if you WERENT overwhelmed like not to repeat this sentiment but it really is such a crazy unprecedented time we’re living in!!! I don't know much about makeup but I do have a conjecture that your perception of your makeup may be different in foreign places because of elevation, and closeness to the ocean. LA is an arid city in the chaparral biome right on the Pacific Ocean, which is much more humid and hot than New Jersey on the Atlantic Ocean. LA is also much more southern than NJ, pulling your gravity down (I think?). And then France is higher than New Jersey, pretty far away from the Atlantic Ocean, pulling towards the North Pole (again I think?). I don't know what this may say about the makeup appearing different; it may also have to do with sunlight and color, but for me it would seem that the differences in climate would support your observations/opinions because of how you may see your appearance in different settings, and how your skin would be reacting to it (like moisture in the makeup interacting with moisture in the air)

There is literally research into the way being in lockdown and quarantine then flinging ourselves back into social situations can affect our minds and bodies. The cognitive dissonance adds to it too I think; knowing the world isn’t normal but still trying to work and get things done especially as an artist is SO hard. Be kind to yourself and try to remember that the existence of other people’s problems is not the diminishment of your own 💕💕

The cognitive dissonance adds to it too I think; knowing the world isn’t normal but still trying to work and get things done especially as an artist is SO hard. Be kind to yourself and try to remember that the existence of other people’s problems is not the diminishment of your own 💕💕
