@@atashinchi05 Division based on tribes within tani people probably happened in much later stage of our forefather's migration from tibet to present day Arunachal. That could be reason why apatani and adi tribes are not found in tibet.

@@eternalbliss2074 I have never been to there so I dont know all the details, But yes most of them can speak chinese. talking about their living conditions, 1st of all, you have to know a fact that in China , the racial minority groups always got better social welfares, like free education much better medical insurance, if we are here talking specifically about the border residents, then they all have free houses built by the government, plus some subsidies other people dont have, For example these tribal people such as Bokar Mishmi Nyishi （IDK all their names）they have the so called "border residents subsidy" which slightly more than 1,000 US dollars per person per year . some of them are still farming or raising livestocks but most people are doing business or main focused on tourism nowadays, more and more young people are studying or working in bigger cities , things have changed alot since the government relocated them from the mountains in 80s

My grandfather used to tell me that before the borders were demarcated, we used to move freely in and out of Tibet (or at least the region where these people are living now). I'm glad to hear that the Chinese government has been able to preserve whatever is left of their culture so well. Also, what do you mean by "border subsidies"? Can you expand that a bit please? I've heard that minorties in China are exempted from the one-child (now three child, I believe) policy, are given boosted test scores and guaranteed representation. Is that true?

AND yes the minority groups never followed the one child policy , they got extra scores AND yes the bokar tribe has one national congress representative who was born in 1989

There are no apatanis, adis living in tibet, China. Only few are bangni( nyishi) , and majority. bokar and tagin people who are living in tibet.
