Just one suggestion. I love your videos but there is so much repetition when it comes to Royal Oak models, the clasp, the bracelet, the history. Perhaps you could make a shorter video for the individual models and just reference past reviews of the other models for the information on the bracelet and history. I must admit I skipped through nearly all of this which is a shame as I probably missed the pertinent parts pertaining to this model in its own right.
Agree. Video started at 5:00 minute mark for me. I think best alternative is to include a link to your old videos for viewers who are new to the channel and focus on the individual model.
Agree, we’ve all heard the history over and over about the sports watch crisis, just show the watch and give the review. Make separate history videos, and if you need the reviews to go over 10 mins for $ purposes then just show the watch more
100% agree. They're all running out of things to say (all the watch channels)
Hi Ianmedium, thank you for your comment. I'm sorry you feel this way about the history and structure of our videos. I like to keep them all the same style and structure as we have had a great response from doing that as people know what they're watching. I do reference the more in-depth history videos as you suggested, this video actually featured a more basic version of the Royal Oak's history with parts relating specifically to this model, a more in-depth version was linked. Our subscribers have a varying levels of knowledge so we like to ensure everyone can gain something from our videos. It appears that our channel may not be what you're looking for and we very sad to hear that, hopefully you can take something from some of our videos.
Thanks
Dylan

Beautiful watch! I bought mine back in october 2018, wore it almost everyday since today, beautiful and tough watch, the only issue i have is a screw on the lock tabs falling off, so i ended up losing one of my lock tabs. I personally think this is unacceptable for a watch of this price range, but then i looked around the internet and noticed that it was a common issues with the 15400, AP got it covered under warranty so I'm still happy with it.
Really enjoyed the video and background history. Thank you. Definitely a future buy.
Yes, yes, yes, I'd buy that particular watch in the video. It's beautiful.
Definitely my dream watch
I adore this watch. This watch with the white dial is what I’m going to get next.
Nice review mate
Yes. I’ll take two thank you .
15300 had the best case size.
Does anyone know the retail of this particular watch ( in AUD)? I see quite a few second hand for sale though I understand there is quite a premium in the second hand market. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
First! Nice piece.
This or a Submariner for everyday wear?
Damn, those things are fine! Only an Aquanaut equals it. Only a Nautilus beats it.
Blue dial, all the way
I like this watch but it seems more like jewellery and I'd be worried about damaging it . I've always had Rolex sports watches . Could anyone tell me the difference between the two ? What an amazing looking watch though the AP is .
Arsenal FC Rolex is lake a Mercedes Benz and AP and PP are like rolls Royce
Grey dial.
So the 2 AP Royal Oaks I saw for sale on offer up for $100 and the other for $200 were probably "replica" watches... Drat.
You should mention that this model will be replaced this year
Hi Ted, thank you for your comment. 15500 is a supplement model to the range and Audemars Piguet has yet to announce if and when the 15400 will be replaced.
I've read ref. 15500 is replacing the ref. 15400@@BijouDiamondJewellery
Jubilee and Presidential bracelet over this any day!
All the watch channels have run out of things to say and watches to review. They keep repeating reviews of the same watches, trying to come up with new topics like 'Rolex price bubble bursting'
Bring on Basel World
Kazzamatazz exactly. I used to watch all the usual suspects and watch none of them now, “Quartz is rubbish, this sports watch is better than that sports watch, this unheard of micro brand that micro brand, is it worth it?” I could go on, they plow the same field over and over till all that’s left is dust and their pointless ill informed opinions. I tend to just watch the guys who repair vintage watches now. I liked this channel but am going off it as I can only take so much of how wonderful an AP,s clasp is! :)
@@ianmedium it's the best clasp in the industry don't you know? 😂 Hahaha
My thoughts exactly. 👏
I bet he does another Royal Oak 'review' video this year.
I will say that I still find Watchfinders video still mildly informative, although how many more ultra-close-ups of a A. Lange & Sohne chronograph I can take I don't know!!
Hi, thank you for your comment. This watch was yet to be reviewed on our channel and we have had a lot of requests from subscribers to review it.
@@kazmanscoop We're sorry you feel this way, the Royal Oak is a very popular model for us so we will continue to give it coverage.
@@BijouDiamondJewellery Dylan ive praised your watch reviews in the past because I enjoy your content and your presentation style. But let's be honest, you and Federico and Theo and Harris and all the watch guys are running out of new things to talk about. And whilst you haven't reviewed this particular reference before, it's still a Royal Oak which is something you've talked about extensively. You mainly just review Rolexes and Royal Oak. If you haven't got anything new to add then just take a break for a few weeks.
