The other thing I’ve noticed from some “professional “ paper hanger’s is they work so hard to line up the pattern of a paste the wall product behind or below the toilet and then the pattern is off up by the ceiling! If you can’t get the paper to expand, booking, wetting, whatever, I offset the pattern slightly behind or below the toilet where it looks aligned when your looking down at it, if you notice it at all, but always line up the top. You see the top EVERYTIME.
I’ve been using a Mr. Longarm brand 4” mini roller with a fine finish velour sleeve to roll behind the toilet. Or, if it’s tight like this one, I tape a stir stick to a PLASTIC 5” taping knife with ALL edges sanded off. Try it out , it works. 😉
My least favorite area to work for many reasons. I do like to cover the toilet with a trash bag before I stick my face in that area. Also keeps glue off it.
Does an amazing job!! Makes it look too easy lol.
Thanks Spencer for your help on how to hang 40 -in wallpaper quite a test but all went well 😢
