Well, Alexis knew Amber could be held accountable if the convo had a 3rd party listening in. Amber has a way of making sure her narrative is woven without the taint of someone else's thoughts and opinions on it. When I was with my abuser, he would always say "our relationship is only bad because of outside factors". That's the biggest red flag about Tommy to me. @sassykat2000 a lot of her actions seem very consistent with someone who would rather live with bpd rather than work on it. Bpd isnt a choice and i feel a lot of sympathy for those that suffer with it, but it can be extremely harmful for those around the person with bpd depending on how they handle it. Ever since shes gotten that diagnosis its been the basis of everything shes done, which for most people i feel would be something theyd want to work on rather than use it as an excuse as she does. Left unchecked and unmedicated, it essentially leads that person to believe that they are always the victim. My partners mother has what i suspect to be bpd and its lead to some horrible situations over the years for my partner that seem very reminiscent of ALR.

Every time we'd talk about my day/week etc and I'd say oh this happened, I felt a bit upset and didn't sleep well after. Her answer would always be along the lines "oh well you know you have ptsd/BPD, this really sounds like dissociation/derealization/etc etc, be kind to yourself and take a couple of days to heal". I hope you get the gist. She was really trying to help but in the end I took on that behaviour and found myself actively encouraging my bad mental health conditions when faced with adverse things? Like if I argued with my boyfriend and cried after I'd tell him he triggers me and I'd be so convinced it's a mental health episode that id then not talk to him for days. It became a self fulfilling prophecy and actually went against working on myself. Now I have to genuinely hold myself accountable sometimes and remind myself everyone gets sad/angry/upset sometimes and that's okay, not every bad thing is a mental health episode. It's really helped me not feel stuck in a cycle and actually work through my problems :)

Amber has a way of making sure her narrative is woven without the taint of someone else's thoughts and opinions on it. It's why she prefers to be alone or speak behind the scenes so she can corner her prey first and it's another reason she likes to pre-record - she's distancing herself from things she's said so she can either forget about it or just not care enough to remember what she even said, so it's easier for her to lie about shit so flippantly. (Even though I do think she reads top comments on some videos occasionally, she mostly reads stuff on insta or tiktok because, again, it's distance from her true audience which mostly speak harsh truths and valid criticism.

Bpd isnt a choice and i feel a lot of sympathy for those that suffer with it, but it can be extremely harmful for those around the person with bpd depending on how they handle it. Ever since shes gotten that diagnosis its been the basis of everything shes done, which for most people i feel would be something theyd want to work on rather than use it as an excuse as she does. Left unchecked and unmedicated, it essentially leads that person to believe that they are always the victim. My partners mother has what i suspect to be bpd and its lead to some horrible situations over the years for my partner that seem very reminiscent of ALR.

@@dannii2323I definitely agree! I didn't even realise it was a thing until I got assigned a new support worker and she made me lose track of my sense of accountability! Every time we'd talk about my day/week etc and I'd say oh this happened, I felt a bit upset and didn't sleep well after. Her answer would always be along the lines "oh well you know you have ptsd/BPD, this really sounds like dissociation/derealization/etc etc, be kind to yourself and take a couple of days to heal". I hope you get the gist. She was really trying to help but in the end I took on that behaviour and found myself actively encouraging my bad mental health conditions when faced with adverse things? Like if I argued with my boyfriend and cried after I'd tell him he triggers me and I'd be so convinced it's a mental health episode that id then not talk to him for days. It became a self fulfilling prophecy and actually went against working on myself. Now I have to genuinely hold myself accountable sometimes and remind myself everyone gets sad/angry/upset sometimes and that's okay, not every bad thing is a mental health episode. It's really helped me not feel stuck in a cycle and actually work through my problems :)

She finally left him and lived her best life for the last couple of years before she passed.
