JASDF RF-4 Phantoms boil the rain at Hyakuri Air Base, Japan

On the morning of Friday 24th August 2018 these Japan Air Self-Defense Force RF-4s departed in some shocking weather from Hyakuri Air Base near Omitama, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It was awesome to see the afterburner from their might J79s boiling off the water from the runway as they departed.
The camera gear made it out alive as well, but the wind was really strong after the rain cleared out. I hope it doesn't affect the video too much. Even the fluffy on my mic wasn't enough!
