Also, planning a trip with son who really wants to visit Japan but I hate huge crowds and just think Tokyo would drive me crazy but at least everyone is polite! Maybe just a couple of days there. Have been reading about a city ...like the Silicon Valley of Japan similar to Tokyo but smaller, less crowded and less expensive...maybe we'll try that. It's called Fukuoka and have found some hidden gem tours of Japan which do that area instead of Tokyo.

Great video... Makes me miss Japan.. This will help fill in the blanks on Japan history.( Yes I'm going to be off a little on numbers and dates.) Did you know as China was falling to the huns, that's what the great wall was for to stop invaders. And to be able, to signal, with fires and smoke for thousands of miles, what was going on. Well the Emperor's family was to danger of been killed. He lived in the forbidden city. The young boy Emperor, was Thought to be of God. And was night worshipped. As the plot to kill them grew closer. And his army could not hold back the invasion. 150.000, Chiness, and all of the empires family. Left China about 2500 years ago. They left by boat, they took half of the written Chinese language. And paddled away.....with no clue where they were going. The Empires faith rested on what the young emperor said.... They followed the sun....
The island they landed on had no people, a new land. Now it's called Japan.
All Japanese, oldest names....will lead back to China. And China and Japan, had one of the bloodests wars... The only reason Japan's, empires army's did win was Americans, with held oil JAPAN HAD BOUGHT AND PAIDED FOR. And America,...left in China..fighter planes called tigers, they left AMO, cash... Chinese used the wepons against the Japanese, then they turned on the last empire of China's, family...and started a COMMIEST country... Then the sealed China's boarders to all out siders.. I might be off on a few points... In the state department USA . I was ordered to learn everything Asian, who hates who, why, how come. ECT ECT. Whitehouse got mad at me in 1975 I brokered a IMF rebuilding loan for Vietnam, the government of Vietnam, paid me 2%, of what I got them in bank loans... My fee, 2% was 2 billion cash. 😊

Since time immemorial Okinawa was a peaceful, prosperous independent nation known as Ryukyu (alternative spellings: Loo Choo, Lew Chew, Luchu). Ryukyu maintained close, friendly, mutually-beneficial relations with China, Korea, and Southeast Asia, and signed treaties of equal recognition with the United States of America, France, and the Netherlands. In 1609 the Satsuma clan of Japan invaded Ryukyu, forcing Ryukyuans to pay tribute which was the start of Japanese prejudice towards Ryukyuans, but Ryukyu nevertheless continued be an independent country. In 1879 Japan again invaded, this time forcefully annexing Ryukyu against the will of Ryukyuans. After World War II all of Japan's other colonies were given back their independence, but not Ryukyu. Instead the United States military decided to keep Ryukyu for itself to use for bases. In 1972 the U.S. "gave" Ryukyu to Japan, without a vote from Ryukyuans, and today Ryukyu is under joint U.S. - Japan occupation.

      住民投票で92%以上の賛成を得ています。そもそも沖縄が日本に復帰したのは住民運動によるものが大きいです。根拠のないデマは辞めましょう。
