Been enjoying your Japan videos. Those cherry blossom trees are indeed spectacular!!! Hope I can visit Japan sooon - planning to visit Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Tokyo🙏
Osaka is a very beautiful and interesting city! Cherry Blossoms and Amazing Temples set the mood. Gorgeous and unique city lights on the buildings. Great Awesomeness. 😊
I noticed that you look like your dad, and also like your mom! After looking carefully, I found that your father and your mother are also very similar. How amazing! The ending of the TV series Shogun was very disappointing, and I hope there will be a second season! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍🥰🙏
Japan is a bucket-list destination for me. I can't get over how such a populated place can be so spotless and organized, and the people seem so respectful of one another. I would thrive in that environment. Would you say it's the cleanest country you've been to? Any other countries you've been to that were similar? Singapore comes to mind.
Thanks for the video. I was trying to decide to stay a full two weeks again in Tokyo or split it up between the two cities. Now it seems that i can do all the same things in Tokyo plus more, so I’ll stay in Tokyo. Cheers😢
Thank you for coming to Japan. You guys seem to eat food without sauce sometimes. In Thailand and other countries, each person may or may not put sauce on their food according to their own preference, but in Japan, there are basically certain sauces to be used for different dishes, and they are essential.
Chris and Carol, thank you so much for your travel videos. I am past the age of traveling and you take us on your trips and we feel like we were there. I love that Mom and Dad travel with you at times and it makes me feel like part of the family. Bless you both and sending our love. We look forward to each adventure. PS: We like your music, too.
Yet another incredible video! You've truly captured my attention; I simply can't get enough of your content. It always brings a smile to my face, and the energy is fantastic.☺🙏❤
Very nice video ☺ Food looks great and all the trees and flowers are just amazing. Maybe I have to show this to my son who dreams of traveling to Japan ☺ Stay safe, all of you ♥
The reason why Japanese people wear facemasks since decades is politeness: they don't want to infect others with their respiratory infections. It's a great example for all of us and doesn't have anything to do with Covid.
Welcome to Osaka, Japan this week to explores this amazing city in May of 2024❤❤❤Congratulations to you guys to heads Osaka, Japan in great joy 2024❤❤❤
Did you use an Airbnb in Nishinari? That area has been cleaned up a bit recently, but it is like Skid Row in the US. That's why there are so many abandoned buildings even though it is close to the center of Osaka. The number of foreign tourists staying in Osaka has been increasing, and it is safer than in the past, but some places are unsanitary or dangerous to go out at night, so please be careful even in safe Japan! You have to put sauce on your kushikatsu! I bet you didn't taste it. I guess it didn't taste too good 😅
The current main tower of Osaka Castle was rebuilt in 1931 and is more like a museum. If you want to see the castle as it was then, I recommend other castles. There are currently 12 locations in Japan. Himeji Castle is the most famous
That baby figure is called Biliken and there’s the original smaller one (like 1m high)in a different location where you can touch it. And it’s said if you rub his feet, good fortune will come to you.
nishinari means west inari. fun fact the kami inari has a very broad resume as ppl pray to him for successfully rice cultivation, business prosperity, swordsmanship and brothels and entertainment. bit of a god of all trades, ohand the station u went to translates to the zoo station. osaka castle is def not the most touristy part of osaka. that would be dotonbori and in particular shinsaibashi. the thing / sculpture coming about of the building u didnt know what it was, is a takoyaki... fried octopus ball - popular in osaka. the place with the large tower towards the end of the vid is in an area called shin sekai - entertainment area. btw the place where u stayed is in an area known to have the largest homeless population in all of japan. japanese govt figures would say they have 0% homelessness. the restaurant with a boat i think that was zao's there is one in tokyo too. not only is there a boat but ur given a fishing line and u can catch ur own fish and have it sashimi or cooked in front of you.
There is a big cultural rivalry between Tokyo and Osaka. Not sure if you picked up on this. I used to date a girl from Tokyo, and she would make fun of people from Osaka for being unsophisticated 'country bumpkins', which made no sense to me since Osaka is also a large city. I think it's similar to the way Londoners make fun of people from Manchester. 😂
You are blessed to have parents that are traveling with you. My dad (American) is a homebody and doesn't care to go anywhere. When he was in the Army he served in Germany and I want to take him back there but he has no interest.

Great video guys! I'll be in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka) in late October for the first time. Your videos have got me pumped! If you have a moment, do you use the Flat color setting on your GoPro and then color grade in post or just leave it to Normal or Vibrant settings?
Hi from NY USA, 12 clock hours away 🤣... Side question... How tall are you guys? including your Dad Chris, every time i see him he's the tallest guy around haha. JW
I found your channel a few months ago and I finally know a little bit of your background in this video. I enjoy your videos very much but I don’t think I know your name 😂
We liked Osaka more than Tokyo as well. Overall however, we may need more time in Japan than 2 weeks, it was nice, but we found South Korea was a better fit for us, as well as Thighland.
I love you guys and your Japan tour has been amazing but PLEASE stop saying the trees are "dead" just because they don't have leaves! It's just that it's early spring and they haven't leafed out yet.
@@JumpingPlacesI didn't mean to offend you, just think about it. If you say "all the trees are dead around here" it could affect whether or not a viewer decides to visit that place. Deciduous trees lose their leaves in winter; their leaves grow again in the spring. That's all I was saying. Thank you for all the hard work you do!

What a beautiful place😍👌🏻
The Japan vlogs have been fabulous…thank you for sharing…❤
I love how your parents are so easy to hang out with and explore. Thanks for sharing!
Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Kyoto, Yokohama, Matsumoto are all " must visit". They're all unique and attractve.
I flew into Osaka from the USA. My military unit then did some work in Okinawa at both our US Army depot and US Kadena Air Base. Good memories.

A wonderful video, simply the best. I don't see any litter or graffiti as you've been walking around. You're parents are so cool. God Bless you all!❤
It is wonderful to visit Osaka Castle after watching the drama SHOGUN.
What a great place to visit. I would love to see Osaka. Love your vlogs.
Chris and Carol, Osaka is fantastic place in Japan!

I live 10 minutes from Osaka Castle.
This area is very easy to live in.
Thanks for coming!🥰
Once again, what an amazing video ❤ So good it almost makes travelling to Japan pointless 😅

Beautiful place. Lovely video guys, enjoy your time there 😊
Living in both Tokyo and now living in Osaka. Osaka is easier to Live. Live in Osaka and enjoy nearby Kyoto and Kobe. Nice video and enjoy Osaka
When you say Osaka is "easier to live" than Tokyo, what do you mean by this?

I preferred Osaka. People seem more relaxed and funny. I hired a bicycle to explore the city. Tokyo was too busy for me ❤
My family & i are going to Japan in the end of July after visiting Thailand.😊😀
Hemiji Castle near Kyoto was my favorite castle. Check it out!!
That baby figure is called Biliken and there’s the original smaller one (like 1m high)in a different location where you can touch it.

Very beautiful 👍🙂
You should definitely queue up! In Japan it usually means that it's a great place to eat!
Thanks for sharing this video with us
The city at night is so enchanting a lot of the sites remind me of Las Vegas lol
Very Informatie vibes…..

Chris you& Carol make a Great couple💕
Hi Chris.. Would you be able to add the date you filmed this? We will get to know when the cherry blossom peaked vs forecast. Thanks!

Osaka much more relaxed, prices acceptable :-)
But less beautifull
@lucaevangelisti5132 Sounds like fightin' words from a Tokyoite
Your parents are troopers. All that walking!!!! 😅
