I dont want to see the tutorial, I want to understand how the mechanism work, the short demonstration wasnt enough, it just showed the inside and didn't explain what the pieces were doing.

For some that was enough, to understand completely. Sorry man, maybe put it in slow motion and draw it out as you go on paper. There are very few moving parts in there. A bolt, and the rest in the back that do the rotating and resetting. The side rubber band resets the bolt into position to receive a new rubber band from the rotator in the back that rotates once when the bolt touches it. All the trigger does is move out of the way of the bolt which is just holding the band ready to fire.

Dude it is quite simple how it works. I can't really explain it to you here but if you just test a bit with rubber bands you will figure it out! Have fun building this!
