TWO AND A HALF YEARS?! Holy Sh*t! This is one of my favorite stop motion piece. Everything about is beautiful. you guy did an awesome job!
Who is here because of watching zero?
Me. I always go behind the scenes lol
Krazy Kirby zero is my absolute favourite short film/stop motion ever
Me :), it really deserves some attention, the creators worked so hard on Zero, I saw whole animation and it was one of the best I've seen so far.
Their another absolutely amazing short animation is "The Maker" which I highly recommend to watch ;).
Well kids, this is wht happens when you put a crap ton of effort into something. You create something amazing.
Not all the time. Sometimes you put a lot of effort into something and it turns out to be crap.
@@reedomuor sometimes the effort takes a crap
@@reedomuYou just explained my entire life. Honestly, it’s absolute crap.
I absolutely loved your stop motion movie! All that work was worth it! You should've gotten famous or gotten an award! "Zero", is my favorite mini movie of all now!
They have....
15 awards.
+Cronexx Gaming infinity awards
1000000000000000000000000.awards
me too
I was inspired by another artist to make this film and in turn I am glad to hear I have inspired others to make their art. Best of luck.
I'm not a 2D/3D animator, so the tangibility of stop motion was perfect for me as I could physically build stuff and get involved in the animation. Yes, I'm open to combining stop motion with digital compositing, in fact Zero has a bit of this going on. Check out our other video "Zero - Pre & Post Compositing".
I'm speechless! Wow respekt!
Respect
Sepi
I make stop motion films too, but I don't think I will ever be as good as you guys ha ha. I do try though. Thanks for being one of the many sources of inspiration!
the time investment is crazy
People make it look so effortless nowadays to make something extraordinary ;-;
I know XD the best I ever did was make a little park outta modelling clay
I loved every little detail and it shows they worked hard on this :) pure perfection
Amazing effort you've put into this beautiful stop motion video you are an amazing person make more of these videos please!
Wow, you spent your effort into making this. 2 and a half years, incredible. Basically others would just forget about the project(like me), thinking that they would never get to finish it, but wow. You have the courage to do it(unlike me)! Great job
Over the two years the production took, from pre-production through to post production, I believe there were about 40 people involved. Check the film's credits for an idea of their roles.
after blood,sweats n tears :')

Yukko Menma I thought to
Me to
Yukko Menma 0:50 T-pose to assert your dominance.
Believe it or not, this was my first stop motion animation. Honestly, the secret is just make very small movements and learn how to ramp up and down your motion, i.e pay attention to how fast and slow things move when they go from stop to start and be sure to add a little swing and bounce in the movements.
All this work for twelve minuets of amazing entertainment, incredible.
All I can say is "thank you" to the Zealous Creative. You guys really inspired me and my friends. What software do you use for it? is it Dragonframe?
IT TOOK 2 AND A HALF YEARS THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME DOING ALL THIS AND I WATCHED THE ORIGANAL SO MANY TIME I LOVE IT THANK YOU AGAIN FOR MAKING THIS FOR US
I loved Zero, one of my favorite characters of all time. Thank you for the short film.
Amazing job! Congratulations
Check out the 'Behind the Scenes' section of the Zero website. There's a whole lot of info on how we made the puppets.
And all these while I thought this was purely animated. Had no idea they were created physically.
The amount or work put in here is nothing short of amazing.
And the time dedication is mind blowing.
Keep it up.
I'm glad Zero won lots of awards.
It was more than worth all of the blood, sweat, and tears you poured into making this! The finished film is a pure masterpiece!
Thank you.
It's incredible to think a couple years for a 12 minuet animation but the film never gets old it's a amazing experience to watch it
I was so touched by this incredible movie. I want to have a zero used in the set as a souvenir
I loved your stop motion movie Zero, and now I need to watch it again. Thank you for all your work! Congrats!
Seriously! This should give everyone full mounds of respect for stop animation artists. 2.5 years to create a 12.5 minute short. Much respect and admiration for everyone's work involved. Keep on making more!
ZERO, has really been an inspiration for me since it was released. Such an amazing short film, and a beautiful work of art. It is still one of my favorite things to watch to this date. Truly spectacular
Wow... thank you all for making this, it’s amazing and beautiful, it was so cute!
This short film was amazing! Still can't believe it took almost 2 and a half years to make! Amazing! I might show this video to my school!
there's just something about stop motion that has this charm. this video is so great and well made. Won't forget it.
As a new teacher, your film was recommended to all new teachers at a social justice conference. We are now showing it in our classrooms. Incredible work on issues that need to be addressed. Keep up the fantistic inspirational work.
WHAT A DREAM JOB! OBVIOUSLY MANY MANY HARD HOURS BUT HOURS CREATING SOMETHING AMAZING. I LOVE IT!
How did you create the jumping effect?
You hold the puppet up with a wire or some other device, then remove it in post.
+Zealous Creative cool looks like the channel is still active
Tony Stark
Tony Stark string i tie it up and pull it up and keep it till its compelety still
Maybe stop moutoin
I love the message of the movie, made me sit back and I couldn't get over how amazing the message is. Great job.
We originally made Zero for a film festival that required you have the No. 8 appear somewhere in the film. So we came up with a world about these characters with numbers that deemed their position in society. The themes grew out of that. Yes, we had story boarded some shots that we didn't end up shooting, you kind of come up with creative work arounds as you go along that are more efficient or tell the story better. We didn't shoot the scenes in the order of which they appear in the storyboard.
Wow! Congratulations, guys! That video took my breath away! Your job is incredible, very interesting and inspiring.
This made me appreciate the short film Zero so much more.
I bet that took for ever
Good work love the story!
😱😱 TWO AND A HALF YEARS?!?! WOW that's really surprising and it really shows how much it takes to make films like that. I love the film it is my favorite, thank you creators for making it, it really inspired me and it completely changed my way of life.
Hi, glad you enjoyed it. The prototypes we picked weren't based on vote, rather which ones worked the best. The camera was a Canon 450d using Nikon prime lenses (old ones we bought second hand from eBay). We used 98% of the footage we shot, but did trim a number of clips and did some reshuffling of some of the scenes in the edit.
I didn't know that so much hard work was put in to that video. Well the most I can do is like the video and admire the brilliance.
That's what I call dedication and love for art and entertainment. An amazing job ! I consider slow motion movies like a piece of art like Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas
You guys have the greatest project of ur life.
Thank you for ur work.
I'm exhausted just watching how much work was put into this! I loved to film!
All the work you put into this project was well worth it. "Zero" is the absolute best short animation I've seen on YT! :D It's so perfect in many ways!

I actually cried watching this video.😭
🙌🙌🙌🙌Thank you for such a great film.
We'll be selling Zero dolls in January. You can subscribe to this channel or follow ZealousCrtv on facebook for details. In the meantime, if you really want to make your own, check out he Zero website, there's some behind the scenes tutorials on how we made them. It's a fairly complex process.
Generally speaking, people don't make short films to make money, they make them for experience and for their showreels. Zero received part of its budget from a government grant, but I also paid for much of it from my savings. It helps to make your short while also working another job so you have continued income (as was the case during Zero).
Your stop motion was so smooth and I appreciate all the effort you put in Zero to make me love it
I loved the animation and all the work you guys put into it,it was really worth it.
Looking at this- I look back at what I do- which are animations and speedpaints- and I say- "Welp. This is a lot easier than I expected.."
This is amazing.
It's amazing! Thanks for your wonderful work to make this fantastic film!
Respect for those who made this epic piece of work
The dolls were posable, but we didn't use clay. They were made from silicon with wire armatures. You can check out the Zero website for behind the scenes articles and videos on how we made them.
that was amazing. i love behind the scenes videos. this made me appreciate the animation that much more. very great job you guys! can't wait to see more
What a wonderful work, congratulations for having the patience to make such great puppets, everything is awesome, many thanks to share with us, "Zero" !!!!
2,5 years?
You guys are really amazing!
Thanks for making it
:')
Yo, this is.. AMAZING! I didn't know that you've make something like this behind the scene's! and in 6 months making thos prototypes? (correct me if I'm wrong) it is just like .. WOW
Thank you so much for this film! it was so beautiful and inspiring!
Zero was a beautiful piece of work. Seriously! The story was perfect, the animation was epic. Personally I think that it touched a place in my heart that hadn't been accessed in a while and it made me feel like a kid again, but as an adult it's messages were clear to me and I really enjoy work that does this. Please keep up the good work....
absolutely beautiful!!! Thank u guys i really enjoyed the film!!!
You and your team have created and made a fabulous production with this type of animated work! Thx indeed, for inviting audience behind the scenes too!

Kira laugh I would totally buy one!
Yes, that is a great idea! I want one 2!!! ❤️
I would buy 2
2 and a half year for a 12 min movie lmfao u guys are the BEST!!
This is incredible. Stop motion takes a lot of time and creativity.
Brilliant work done by brilliant people. Well done

Zero is so amazing!!! :D ♥ Great work!
wow making everything looked like so much fun and it looks so cool, your animation is amazing!!
MIND BLOWN!!!

Wow! Great guys! Zero is really a wonderful animated short film of your company. I am really placing hope on you guys not to win an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film. But an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. You guys are freaking awesome with your work.
i love you're guys work!!
must have been so hard ty for u all .. ty! that movie was amazing
Two and a half years for twelve minutes! This must be real hard work!
omg! zero I found it again! I was little when I first saw the little animation and loved it,I learned from this animation too.
Love the movie, and these "making of" pieces are the icing on the cake. I don't think I'd have the patience to make all those little people TWICE (AGHHHH!), but the story is told beautifully -- deeply affecting and ultimately sweet. So glad Zero (and Zeroina?) ultimately prevailed against the hoity-toity bullies, and scored a pair of adorable twins in the process! Off to discover more of your work -- thanks for giving the world some wonderful and badly-needed magic :)
wow, I really loved the Zero. It was touching and adorable and the same time. We all appreciate your hard work! XD
the film you made...
it was amazing it even made me cry, it was very touching i loved it
I loved it to pieces !
two and a halfyears??! wow, its was so worth it! the film was so amazing! (i even cried a bit) :) good job
Only one of the people involved had done another stop motion. For the rest of us, it was our first time. We just worked it out as we went along. Oh and we did all this in my parents study and garage. Work with what you have!
I have no idea how much work goes into stop motion animation. It's definitely something me and my boyfriend are going to have a go at, as he's studying animation and I will be studying film and TV production (at the moment I write scripts for short films), this probably should have scared me but it's only spurred me on more! Thank you! :)
Wow im actually speechless!!!
Keep up the art of patients and dedication into creating a living movie.
ZERO is one of the most awsm animation i have seen till now.....the story was awsm
It was beautiful. Awesome work!
