  • If you're watching this video, you've probably heard of Kawhi Leonard's mysterious Uncle Dennis. He quickly rose to become been one of the most famous headline-grabbing family members of NBA ballers these past few years. He was allegedly instrumental in Kawhi's time with the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and his signing with the Los Angeles Clippers. Quite frankly, he’s right behind LaVar Ball. Here's the secret behind the man.

h1ph0pjunk1e Yes very successful, but with crooked Ink. Maybe not everyone but a lot of people who know him will explain to you how he had stepped on a lot of people to get what he wanted, just stating the facts anyone that does research closely well find this out. Not trying to bash the man but he is getting a lot of credit for the move. And it wasn’t the spurs choice to get rid of Kawai they still want to Kawai , But if the spurs didn’t make the move they would’ve been stuck with nothing. Everything I’m telling you guys you can look it up if you slowly research what I’m saying you’ll know I’m right I cannot make this up. I love this game too much To lie to all You real fans. Everyone deserves to know the real truth. And if you interview the man naturally he’s going to deny it what type of person with that mentality is going to admit he’s crooked.

Kawhi is what happens when responsible MEN raise young black men. Mothers alone, can't control their kids after they hit puberty. They need fathers to discipline the sons and protect the daughters. Kawhi was lucky he had a good uncle and older cousin looking out for him. The black family structure needs strong backup role players(grandfathers, uncles, older cousins, inlaws) to step up when fathers aren't around. Even the successful sons of single mothers(LeBron, KD) end up behaving like women instead of men. God Bless Kawhi, Uncle Dennis and their family.

@@yangjianhunt I'm sure Kawhi's father was a great role model for him but this video is about Uncle Dennis. Keep in mind Kawhi's parents were divorced when he was young and not living together during his teenage years. Mark Leonard wanted Kawhi to play football which he did until his freshman year. Kawhi wanted to transition to basketball and his father supported that decision. A year later his father was murdered at their car wash. At 16, many young men can go sideways without a father figure but imagine dealing with your family member getting MURDERED. Those years between the ages of 16-19 were probably the most formidable years of this young mans life. I'm just saying it was good that his uncle and cousin helped finish the foundation for Kawhi's youth(that his father wasn't able to}.

This guy is lucky to have his uncle. They are countless so called financial managers licking their chops, waiting to steal, I mean manage these young black athletes money.
On this Father's day, it is important for men to realize that being present in their children's life is key to generational success.
A positive role model in the family is always important. We need more of this Uncle in NBA, NFL and across communities.

  • @The1Manager

The whole video basically said Kawhi busines partner is being denigrated as a problem because he is blocking them from controlling Kawhi. Uncle Dennis will make Kawhi millions even though I don't think Kawhi cares that much about money other than philanthropy and value. Kawhi still drives a couple of 20 year old cars that costs less than he makes a minute. Black businesses get recognized differently from white businesses, Kawhi and his Uncle who is educated and accomplished will build a legacy for their family and set up a money stream for years to come even after he finishes playing basketball.

The spurs have never and would never have rushed Leonard. He was the future of the franchise. The Spurs, along side the Suns, have one of the most respected medical and training staffs in the NBA. Leonard wanted to play in his home town, and he definitely wanted a bigger market to make endorsement deals.
The idea that Leonard left because of something the spurs did is ridiculous. They treated him like a king. It was only when Leonard and Uncle Dennis' motives were discovered that the organization turned on them.
Leonard screwed the spurs. To think otherwise shows a lack of understanding. The spurs were not trying to take advantage of him. They were offering him more salary than any other team. They were hustling to build a winning roster for the next decade. They had developed him from a player with basically no offensive game, to the best 2 way player in the NBA.
    And he wanted out.

Is it possible that uncle drew would steer him to Jersey/Brooklyn, a khawi Leonard and kyrie Irvin duo, uncle is in Jersey and kyrie is from Jersey, its league recognized that Brooklyn is an up and comming good talent, good shooting, solid front office, respectable defence, and money to spend, player development is obvious, they were problems for philly in the playoffs, they would have to beef up the front court but that's doable, but hey its a possible but not probable thought,

Uncle Dennis has turned out to be a certified grifter and now the Clip show is left holding the bag. So the Clips are going to continue to Clip while that mysterious right quad of KL, you know, the injury that San Antonio supposedly mismanaged -- while keeping everyone else healthy for years, including 4 HOFs -- will keep getting worse and they're won't be any honesty or accountability coming out of Kawhi's camp, so this thing will just spiral and spiral until we're some day talking about Kawhi's Clippers the same way we talk about the Blake Griffin-Chris Paul Lob City era... just another fad. My guess is that Kawhi's best chance at winning another chip outside of the other team losing their 3 best players like he lucked into in Toronto is similar to his '14 title... as a complimentary piece, the Iggy GS role when he's 34 or 35, and is no longer the player that can be the prima donna w/Uncle Dennis making exorbitant demands and franchises aren't mortgaging their futures for bad, armchair GM'ing. This Paul George trade will go down as one of the most lopsided, worst trades in history -- book it.

Yep. People should go read up on how Pop runs almost a cult. And if you cross him he tries to destroy your career. Kawhi uncle comes in. Gets him off the plantation. And the masters predictably feed Stephan A. his script and he goes right out and savage the uncle. Just like they try to do to Lavar. The sport world hates to see Black fathers (and Uncles) actually protecting their children. They get upset and frightened . That is the role of the white father figure. The white mentor.

nah, there is truth to uncle dennis being difficult. one particular time----the spurs were playing on the road (can't remember the team). there is a particular hotel that the away teams are encouraged to use because of it's proximity to the arena. use any other hotel and it is was almost garaunteed that the team would get caught in traffic. the spurs knew kawhi would be traveling with his uncle. so they told uncle dennis about the situation and suggested he use the same hotel that the team was in. uncle dennis basically says---no, no, no----we're going to check into a separate hotel. so he/kawhi do that. an hour or two before the game, kawhi and uncle dennis start heading over to the arena---and guess what?....they get caught in traffic. it got to a point where it was clear that they weren't going to make it to the arena on time. so, uncle dennis had kawhi put on a hooded sweatshirt to cover his head/face so they can walk the rest of the way.
