There was a few YA I enjoyed. But it was never really my thing. I had to read a few for my book club that were just bla. I don't want to shit on anything people like, but you have to put your heart into the story and not just follow a formula. I think its funny you brought up about how some will see the villain as the hero and hero as a villain. I just had a friend read one of my story and was going on about how much they loved this one character that I absolutely despised. And I'm just sitting there...oh, you liked that guy...interesting. I write because I love the characters I made and want to see what they will do.
😂 I love this!!! I love mine too!! Especially when they take the story and say what they want to!!! It's like they live in alternate universes. Ty for your comment
Damn...I was expecting to be called out, I think this just stoked my confidence. Don't try to be other series, don't be afraid to be biased. I needed to hear those, thank you.
Your words have touched my soul man. Makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing. Idk if my work is good, but I feel like it is good for me. That is often overshadowed by the fear of the ones who may read it.
Honestly , the second point for me is especially key because it is a place where i have grown. Basically, there's nothing wrong with having a bias. I know it sounds obvious, but the obvious can be easily skimmed by most!
I am no RR Martin, but I think I understand where he is coming from wanting to write outaide the rules. I enjoy making fun of writing rules in my work,.as well as writing the opposite of the sad, modern trends.
Your commentary is always grabby and reassuring!! Saw a weak booktuber dissing the flawed characters and dynamics of a best selling author... how are the stories of healthy balanced characters even interesting? Lol! The political climate is highly dictatorial and ty for pointing out their closed minded stance.

Mr. Sami I was wondering if you had the chance to pick up my novel?
