Mirage TOWER KING ROOM || The Worst Hotel Room Experience I've EVER Had in Las Vegas

  • In today's video, I'm taking you on a journey through one of my most memorable (and not in a good way) experiences at a hotel in Las Vegas. Buckle up, because this one's a wild ride.
I arrived at The Mirage Hotel with high hopes, ready to soak in all the glitz and glamour The Mirage had to offer. Booking a Tower King Room, I was excited to share the luxury and excitement of this renowned establishment with all of you. Little did I know, my stay would quickly turn south.
Just as I had wrapped up the room tour, disaster struck. Without warning, the sinks in the bathroom began to overflow with a vile concoction of raw sewage, flooding the sinks with a disgusting mess.
In a final blow to my already shattered expectations, The Mirage left me no choice but to either keep the room that I knew had sinks with raw sewage in them just a few minutes earlier, or to downgrade my room, stripping away the experience I had eagerly anticipated. The Tower King Room I had booked was replaced with a two queen, basic room, without the upgraded and spacious bathrooms, and the plush King bed I had dreamt of for weeks.
So, join me for what was easily my worst experience at a hotel in Las Vegas. Despite the setbacks, I remain committed to sharing the highs and lows of travel with all of you. Stay tuned for more adventures, and remember, not every journey goes according to plan. Until next time, safe travels.

I worked in a hotel way back in my late teens and early 20's. If they moved you to a lesser room then they should of made a price adjustment to reflect the double queen and done some type of compensation for the inconvience. Like even a 10 percent discount on the double queen room rate. A hotel has a extreme markup to make money the lowest a hotel could charge is 45 to 60 dollars depending on the type of hotel.

They considered the room I was in an upgrade because it was a "strip view" - even though I lost the bathtub, only had 1 sink, moved from a king to a queen and had my floor level cut in half. 😂

@@chrisdoesthings Well they are defintily not customer service oriented, making excuses to that extent.

To be fair, they comped me $200 food credit, but I already had my reservations made for other places off property. By the time I got back and wanted a late night snack, everything was closed down except for a grab and go place. It should not be on me to have to change all of my meal plans to allow them the chance to make good - but I did at least appreciate the gesture.

So the resort fee scam is still legal in Vegas... eh, can't say I'm surprised at that.

It's not just in Vegas these days! We have a hotel in Texas we are staying at later this year that has a resort fee.
