Pretty sick top 5 for the world.
Reject dominated their region and DZ dominated their region, with Fnatic and Moist in 2nd in those regions as as well. So for them to also place #1-4 in LAN finals really speaks to their consistency and actual strength.
Deserved win from Reject, they played incredible, but any of those 4 teams could have taken it and have been deserved because they all played so well. Great competition overall

I (alongside Wigg) have been in here since the zero-competitive-integrity-having international scrims began, screaming that APAC-N, APAC-S and EMEA are all stronger regions than NA. The final leaderboard clearly reflects that. Hopefully this Reject YOU WILL REGRET win will begin to change things (though I doubt it).

I disagree that other regions are stronger inherently than NA. I do think it's way more balanced though, and definitely the current best teams in the world are APAC-N/APAC-S and the two Australian teams that moved to NA.
In the top ten by points (which do matter for consistency of the team) we had

I think NA is fairly represented there.
I like how APAC step the fck up recently but they are not stronger than NA. Scrims or no scrims you cant just say they are stronger than NA overall with just 1 tourney

Fuck these zones though.
31 zones on WE and only 7 were south zones. Compare that with flipping a coin 31 times, the chance of there only being 7 heads or tails is 0.12%. Either this LAN was 1 out of 100 in the levels of unlucky zones or it's just fucking broken. I'm leaning towards the latter considering the ineptitude of Respawn in other areas.
Multiple times zones were near on identical back to back.

My take away -- Zones need some form of diversity you can't have that many hitting the same spot over and over makes the viewer experience bland and I'm sure it can't be fun for competitors
