Recently my friend who was living in Delhi pursuing MBBS faced similar tragedy.
He and his gf were in a good relationship from last 5-6 years. They both lived in Delhi but last year her gf completed her graduation ( normal 3 year course ) and shifted to Mumbai as she got a job as consultant. Initially the distance didn't make any difference to their healthy relationship but after a couple of months my friend found out that she was hanging out a lot with other guys and she also started smoking drinking and spending a lot of time in clubs. He finally found out she was doing all this and has already been into physical relationship with a lot of guys. So he confronted her and she said "tumne aaj tak kiya hin kya hai mere liye" .
Now, my friend is struggling alone in Delhi, going through depression and have many backs in his semester. While she still calls him and say "are jaisa tum sochte ho waisa kuch nahin hai, sab pehle jaisa hai"

Well said shwetabh! I do believe that relationship these days have almost no meaning. Almost everyone wants to be in a relationship but they don't have a valid reason, for teenagers relationship is mere an excuse to get intimate and as we grow older it's sort of status (atleast in India). You're perceived desirable if you're in a relationship otherwise you're a sore loser and doomed to be single.
This reminds me of a time when I had a conversation with a stranger and he told his situation of how he was in "love" with the most prettiest girl from his college. He never even had a proper conversation with her nor he knew anything about her. All he wanted was a relationship with her. I find it quite pathetic because he was deluded asf but it's reality for majority of men in our country.

yes, i've experienced this, though I didn't cheat on anyone, but when i was single and decided to remain single for a few upcoming years I've seen i was kinda abandoning my moral codes by continuously flirting and going out with a girl, but then thanks to myself that i noticed some early dating red flags and was somehow able to pull myself out of that shit, this pulling thing is much much difficult to do, in theory, it seems like a fucking piece of cake but putting it into action is a different ball game,
There is one more reason why people end up cheating. For some it's a way to end a relationship without taking the blame, ik ik it seems counter intuitive because you're getting blamed for cheating on them but for some odd reason it seems more "normalised" than just losing feelings for them.
Basically people tend to cheat because they're too p*ssy to confess that they no longer feel the same. Hence cheating = instant breakup.

5/8 Tasks done today. Most important task didnnot complete. was watching UA-cam or anime the whole day. But i did a short 5km run and then did gym. Need to stop watching UA-cam and Netflix atleast during exam time. I have a desire to read books alot and also work on my language skills of japanese but am not able to do because of my escapist mentality. Its hard to start work, easier to maintain that line. Once i start properly then everthings well.
Cheating most of the time comes from lack of attention and respect between the two separate individuals. Also you can always foresee in a relationship that the individual might cheat. It's the result of a cycle of events. I would love to hear about other's opinions

Actually in my experience you should give your full trust to the other person while you are in a relationship with them.. But you should know the reality too that people will hurt you no matter what if you do so you are prepared for difficult situations and at worst time still you have energy to stand by yourself.

Umm by reading your text, if talking about friends you should not trust them fully because one day it will be used against you and you will get hurt. Here comes the role of boundaries, one should have clearly defined their boundaries in their mind and there is nothing wrong in keeping privacy, because it's important to protect yourself, otherwise if you get hurt in return you will always live in a void, sadness and maybe trust issues which I think nobody wants to deal with. And there is nothing like cheating your friends and yes with your family and partner you can share everything but keep it in mind that it may hurt them so be ready for the consequences of them leaving you.
