Try their filet 5" knife and they have a gut blade for that 3.5" knife as well. All to make skinning something easy. You CAN sharpen these blades using a worksharp at 22 degree angle and bring 'em right back. What I like is when I'm skinning a deer or something, stopping to sharpen is not something I want to do. When the season is over, I sharpen them while I'm in meetings during the year. :)
I still think a whole detachable blade is better- you can still put it in a Lansky sharpener and sharpen a dull blade while you put a new one on to use!
I have brought utility knives blades back to life with a peice of carbon steal for years works on these blades too great for deer processing I'm still a regular blades guy though
My knife has a gap in it and it's that pin towards the tip it won't stay in place is there any way to fix that

anyone have any clue on to actually close the damn thing? mine doesnt close and i cant find out anywhere how to do it
yes it is a flip knife....
The silver section on the back of the orange handle can be pressed down and then the knife should fold up!

It's scary sharp...like not for everyone sharp.
