I've watched a bunch of these because I have a big arcade cabinet too. Good job picking out the smaller but practical issues and setups with the control panel. It's hard together right the first time!
I’m looking into a steering wheel setup now that I can use on this and my pc and my son can use on his PlayStation 4 for GT Sport. I want to duplicate the arcade screen and just swap the cables to my PC when I want to play more graphic intensive games as this only has a GTX 1660. Need to save a bit to get a Fantec GT DD Pro with a Next level racing setup to hold it. Basement finishing is taking all my money.
Man, this is wicked cool! I'd love to have something like this. It will be an incredibly long time from now but it would be cool. I'm not great at filming anything I get or buy so the likely hood of me recording it is slim but it's nice to see more of these machines this year cause I'm wondering how they're looking and all that. The joysticks and buttons look amazing! I'm seriously torn between the two player and 4 because honestly it will be mostly just myself and maybe my niece when she is big enough to enjoy it I highly doubt I'll need a 4 player but who knows. I'm thinking it will be like 3-4 years minimum before I'm able to get one of these, mostly due to space.
After almost 1 year of owning this, are you happy with it? Also, have you heard of a direct competitor with Retrocade? If so, curious what made you choose Extreme over Retrocade? Thanks.
Yes the family and I are all happy with it. I like the customization on this better than Retrocade. Adam arcade channel has a great looking arcade and he has added a lot of cool things.

Hello, Newbie here considering a purchase w EHA but hesitant due to the research I’ve been doing on UTube. Want to buy but been seeing issues w emulators running slow or not running at all w certain games. I’m also not interested in utilizing any type of external controllers or joysticks during gameplay which I hear can be an issue at times too. I want to experience all gameplay using the control panel on the cabinet to have that retro arcade experience all the time. I hear this can’t be done w certain games including some classic arcade games, console games and hand held gaming devices like the PlayStation, Nintendo NES Wii, PSP, GameBoy Advance or Nintendo DS. Is this true? If so, that would be a huge game changer for me as far as making a purchase is concerned. Would it be possible to do a demo of some of my faves and give me your honest review of the gameplay? Thanks! -Joe
You can give me a list and I can see what I can do. But I will say all classic arcade games and Consoles up to the Nintendo 64 use the Joystick and control panel. Nintendo 64 on up have the analog sticks and use an Xbox controller. Wii uses Wii controllers and the light bar. I have not tried to connect the switch controller but heard you can. I have used an Xbox controller and added new switch games and played them. I have no issues with games that I played so far. For newer PC games you may want a better GPU than the 1660 Super that came with mine. I also added an other 16tb hard drive to keep adding games. Newest games I have are both Spider-man games, High on life, and the newest Pokémon games on switch. The PlayStation for most games works the best with the Xbox controllers. I also have no steering wheel for racing games yet.

Yes scanline filters are an option. The classic games play very well when using theb4 way joystick or track ball. This machine came like this with the games.
