Hi again Doug, I love the personal anecdotes! You were smart to pick these all up. I was thinking back myself to what I was doing at the time. In 85' , I had moved on to GI Joe and Transformers. Prior to our family moving in 1987, we had a yard sale and (poof) they were gone. It's just recently that I've been trying to recreate my Kenner collection with beaters that I can polish up and display. It has been lots of fun.
That’s awesome that you’re getting back into the old Kenner collecting! It’s never too late. My friend George whom I mention on the channel quite often recently completed the original 96 just a year or so back. It’s something that never dies in us!
I remember seeing the last series in a discount bin for super cheap and I didn’t even purchase any because I was out of my Star Wars phase and on to other stuff.
I got a few on card last 17 from a fleamarket in '87 for 50p each (75c -$1). Han, Lando, Luke, Romba.. Shame they didn't have the whole set, I'm sure I must have got all the ones they had. That was a lucky find. Opened them all of course, no idea that they would ever be valuable, they were almost worthless at that time.
Isn’t that crazy how much they’re worth now? Oh if only we could go back in time. We’d buy em all and leave ‘em carded and they’d be worth a fortune. Thanks for the comment and also for watching. MTFBWY

Any regrets?
