@@fortheloveofcarz Maybe you are wanting to do Bracket Racing? I know the M6 did the quarter mile in ~15 seconds. The racing in Germany is mostly circuit based. Those cars were right at 1100kg, which is not bad. Here in FL when we hear 'Drag racing' we don't really think of anything but fastest time in the quarter mile or more rarely, eighth mile. Not much of a bracket racing scene here. I used to Autocross my grey-market '81 733iM, and it was a blast. Took the class for the year. Keep going, man!
Hi Mike! Did you swap both ckp sensors? Just for piece of mind. Did you use new sensors or just tested them with a multimeter in ohms scale? Just 2 reasons to not have a spark, main relay (not powering up the ECU and all the 12v in the engine loom) and one or both ckps although one is not really a ckp as one is for engine speed and the other is for crankshaft position wich is the one that reads the pin you soldered. I've had some luck just swapping them for testing purposes. Also if anyone has worked in the car or the loom it's also easy to mix the plugs for those two very sensors and even if they are ok they will prevent the car from starting if that's the case
@@fortheloveofcarz Only circuit racing or autocross, really. Can get better than 600whp with a modified holset, and mild head work. You might already have seen @TurbineResearch and his work on the M30B25 in his E28s. Very frugal for this kind of setup, and he makes a good case for it, as well. Also, does well with megasquirt. If not, it is worth a look.
Man Im so jealous of your BMWs.. Just not the USDM bumpers 😅.
They are a great place to sit and rest :-)
Can't be a good sign when a car comes with it's own tools
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂I love your comment 😂😂😂. And we Bmw folk obsess over the OEM tools hey.
You need them for all the leaks. lol
👍👍
Cool car
Needs a lot of work though 😂
It does!
The wheels look good, at least one of them, from afar, maybe? Not many runners left... still a good pickup. Happy fo you.
They will need some work!
18:51 whamp whamp waaaaah... automatikgetriebe
I would never have an automatic, except for drag racing.

You found a 4.4 V8 engine for it. P.s.; this 6er doesn't have a alarm code that is blocking your spark? Just asking.
you can set an engine code that must be entered before you start the car, but this can be bypassed by jumping the main relay if one was set.
How do I email you? Been watching the 733 videos
Drag racing?
Yep, you never see these doing it.

It can with the proper ECU, reference wheel, wiring, and sensor.
