VLDC12 - Overworld Tour

This is the overworld I created for the VLDC12 compilation hack, hosted by SMWCentral in 2020. We started working on it at the end of February 2022, right after the VLDC11 compilation got finished. As you can see, there's lots of cool new asm shenanigans here. most of the asm and custom sprites were coded by me, but other people helped code more advanced stuff.
The best world museum, warp menu, and cluster sprite particles for example were coded by Kevin, and Ruberjig and me drew the portraits. Donut also coded the Namek ship, originally a regular rocket for his cancelled overworld contest entry. Additionally, there are a lot of new original songs composed for the maps. The meadow, island, snow, and dream themes were composed by me, and ported by Segment1Zone2.
