- Although the Gessner Drive office was supposed to close at 4 p.m., people waiting for assistance were told just before 11 a.m. the office would be closed.

Extremely bad take 😂😂 this is Houston one of the biggest cities in the US. A extremely diverse community I’m sure 90% of people who were there was for TPP ID verification. In person appointments are published out over 50 days in the city at the 4 locations. It was a walk-in day the obvious reason for it being open on a Saturday… Fill deadline is Monday 😂😂 what were they gonna get windows closing???

You sound like an idiot 😂😂 you can’t file returns in person these people were there to TPP ID verify. It was a walk-in day obviously the reason it’s open on a Saturday. It’s the only way unless they wait on there 1099 form and appointments probably 30 day plus right now. Read and understand before you speak. Like what are they going to do at a IRS office stupid😂😂
someone else said it wasnt to file their taxes it was to do a TPP ID verification cause their returns were flagged as possible ID theft or fraud or something so they havent got their refund yet
😂😂 No people were not there to file about 90% were there to TPP ID verify. Letters are taking over 60 days to reach people. This was the only walk-in date available in the region this month. If you try to schedule an appointment your wait is 45 days plus in Houston between the 4 locations. Most of these people have already filed they are trying to TPP verify or bring forms in for a amendment
