As a vet, I know the shots that’s required can cause an allergic reaction to some that’s bad enough so that the military doesn’t want to invest the time and money or a potential death caused by the shots. No shame on his part or lacking what it takes to make it through, mentally he was locked in but had no control of how his body was going to react to the drugs. Signing the contract is an honorable thing in of itself.
