It may have been fate that EZ wasn't able to make a career in the Air Force. Still, the utmost respect and admiration for EZ for trying his darnedest to serve. If you think about it, EZ is now serving a GREATER purpose; that of inspiring and uniting people through his music.

When I was in the Army Basic Training, (25 years ago) the day they were giving all the shots and stuff they asked if anyone was allergic to Penicillin. I reluctantly raised my hand thinking that whatever the people not getting the Penicillin shot would get somethig worse. I was wrong.... I didn't have to get anything else.

Nice to hear your own Lackland experience. I've also heard that some who went into any military training or is in the military already even have developed Ptsd. Ez wasn't destined in the air force tho coz he's def goin' on a much greater heights.😉👍

My brother went to Texas for boot camp. The training was crazy as he tells me. 2 miles within 18 min run and regular running on early morning with no jacket.
My husband and I both went through basic (Army though). PT every morning is pretty much what you do for your entire military career (unless you work at the MTFs, the mess, etc.). For us, 2 miles is actually easy run. For the PT test, at least for our age then, running 2 miles over 17 min is actually failing. There are other days where you run for 10 miles, ruck run, and a bunch more of running😂. While in, I've run when it was raining, snowing, scorching hot, dusk til dawn, you name it. It's not as simple as saying I don't feel good I won't show up. You do PT every day unless you go to sick call (very rare). Your body definitely needs to be able to keep up and be able to withstand the harshness (physically AND mentally to stay in).
@@AM-reacts yes. I heard that besides air force. Training isneven harder. I have to give props who ever can do those trainings. In air force, guysbhas to do under 18bmin while girls do 21 min i think. I tried to get in on Sherrif. They test you. I passed the test with flying colorsmnjist the 2.5 miles gave me the hardest. A girl there was way ahead of me. I am no marathon and i am bad with scorching heat. Hahaha! Other than that. I passed the agility test and all. I never went to military since one, i had a girlfriend, and 2, i am bad with patience where officers will shout at you. So hats off to whoever passed military.
