he uses this technique or a similar variation of it to win all of his fights. This is the second step after closing the distance, then control the opponent, and smash him

This is a dangerous throw, do it to someone good they will end on top on you, this only works if you're MUUUCH better wrestler than the other guy

I wish I could have an Afro like that. He's like the new Bob Ross.

DC did this to Dan Henderson when they fought

If I remember correctly Dan Henderson does this differently. I think Hendo forces his opponent's body weight to go backwards as he steps behind the opponent with his lead foot, then Hendo finishes the takedown by stepping behind with his other foot and squatting down. He shows it in Learn To Fight To Win Volume 3 ( I think ). Henderson's version doesn't seem to require as much agility as Askren's version ( mainly at the very end of the throw )...Oops, what Henderson shows is called a "body lock knee drop" so not exactly the same thing.

People really sleep on Hendos wrestling ability, he's so good at knocking people out he doesn't normally need it but he's an Olympic medalist in Greco-Roman.

Tani otoshi in judo? My japanese names are not great, but I think that is kind of like what you're describing.

This is closer to a yoko-otoshi in judo.
