My prediction is that the Survivors will use this to their advantage. The Commonwealth will rebuild and improve the communities they took over, only for the Survivors to take it back.

Even once controlled by a group twice/thrice larger than them. But they managed to overthrow The Saviors & gained victory.

Back when the Saviors were around Alexandria had the firepower and enough fighters to go up against the Saviors. with the Commonwealth Kingdom had fallen long ago and both Hilltop and Alexandria were severely crippled. Even when saying this the amount of manpower that the Commonwealth currently has is way more significant than what Negan and the Saviors had, If the Saviors or Alexandria would've fought against the Commonwealth while they were in their prime I believe the Commonwealth would've been able to defeat them but with a price
The twist at the end shocked me. Brings me Game of Thrones Vibes when the Boltons took Winterfell. The soundtrack was spot on incredible! Very fitting in showcasing Lance's victory.
Gotta say. Season 11 really REALLY upped its game. I haven’t thought about good ole Rick this entire season. Great storytelling, and the music backs it and amplified the atmosphere.
Ik ppl who watched the show as it came out dropped off bcos they were getting annoyed with writer’s decisions, but I watched all 11 seasons back-to-back, and the show is AMAZING. S10 was amazing (although a little slow at the end cos of the Covid episodes), and yes s11 was also really good. Had many amazing scenes.
Honestly yeah, Season 11 almost lost me halfway through but I had to stick around and glad I did. I loved how different season 11 was and how different the challenge they faced was.

Lance is so unique compared to previous antagonists like the Governor, Negan or Alpha. A completely different type and level of antagonist. It's not even a question of whether he can conquer the protagonists' locations... that was never really an issue... he can do it in the blink of an eye. However, at the same time, he is bound by rules through Pamela and the oversight of Commonwealth citizens.... and the protagonists must defeat him from within his own group, exploiting those same rules. It's so new and unique. Amazing character, amazing arc (after the reaper nonsense is done) and amazing actor.
He was such a great character in 11A and 11B, I think they did him so dirty in the last few episodes. Doesn't change how great of a character he was though.

His theme sounds a lot like Anakin’s Dark Deeds from Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith. A very similar tone and key pattern is played halfway through which sounds like this theme a lot.
Watched it again and looked at scene planning resistance inside Commonwealth, where Connie mention bigger story of missing people list with names/codes/coordinates... Hmm. I wonder if that could be a set-up for CRM connection. As many have said, it's just ridiculous to think that Commonwealth doesn't know about CRM and vice versa at this point in apocalypse. From what we established and Beyond, it seems possible that there could be a similar alliance relationship happening where maybe Commonwealth was supplying CRM with research subjects, possibly those people who were causing trouble or not going along with the Commonwealth as they were expected to. And maybe having that knowledge, Lance was using Sebastian to use some of those listed people for other purposes like retrieving money and stuff. Wonder If Connie the journalist, along with the others assisting in this Commonwealth investigation (including Max who's stolen files), could be the lead in to that big ending with a broader universe CRM connection.
Ok spoilers for the last season but Lance was at first a really good villain, then they sort of fucked him up by doing jack all with him and deciding to make Pamela the final boss instead of Lance which was in my opinion one of the biggest mistakes made by TWD. Lance is a significantly better final boss due to being the first psychological threat in the series using tactics and manipulation rather than physical strength plus if Leah wasn't such an L of a character, lance could have been the first villain to collaborate with another villain group which could play a role in his rise to power against the Miltons, though if that were to be the case I wish it was a different reaper that survived the reaper battle with me personally believing Carver being the best bet as not only he's strong and would be a cool parallel to Mercer If Lance takes over with Carver, he would also give Elijah something to do after the reaper arc. I personally believe that apart of the reason why the TWD finale sort of sucked and did not feel like an end was because Pamela was not that effectively developed as a villain and never had a big end game plan like Lance did.

Yeah this last season had a handful of plot holes like Oceanside. They only mattered in the 2nd part, and they completely forgot about them in the first part. All together Oceanside was the community they showed once a season because they honestly don't matter that much to the story.

Yeah this last season had a handful of plot holes like Oceanside. They only mattered in the 2nd part, and they completely forgot about them in the first part. All together Oceanside was the community they showed once a season because they honestly don't matter that much to the story.
