PORSCHE UNLEASHED is the best NFS ever. The evolution mode, where you start with the first Porsche ever made, Coupe Ferdinand and ended up with the newest one, or the factory driver mode, that was (and still IS) something orginal and fresh. Routes desing, car handling, destruction model, that all was perfect. I still hope they will make NFS game with evolution mode like that!
I started with NFS II, oh man time flies... but the memories I had with the first 3 NFS were magical. Driving exotic cars in those beautiful mountains, canyons, and cities is certainly what I cherish the most. I stopped enjoying NFS after most wanted, the direction they took was just not for me, I have to admit tho, that the most wanted remake was a good game, I had a good time with that one too.
yeah same. While NFS games aren't simulators, I hate what they did to the car handling, last I tried NFS hot pursuit 2010 and the car would just start drifting every corner. I played a bit of NFS Porsche years ago but I remember my PC would crash while in menu and I gave up on it. Would love to give that one another go.
@@cartofulfierbinte omg wow you're one of the early players, well we have all the technology readily accessible now need to run that game haha, I think you should try it.
I think NFS Shift was the time they really did it in for me and I realized "well they're going too track-based and not open world and story based." Between NFS Underground/Most Wanted and Shift there was (quite literally) a shift in the gameplay that didn't engage the players because AAA gaming was starting to take over and were putting out big title games as fast as they could regardless of how good they were. I miss old games when big developers put all their soul into making a fun, replayable game.
Amazing how gaming technology evolved over the years from just pixels to realistic settings. NFS will always remain in our hearts and only '90s generation will understand better.
This is why I realized "graphics aren't everything." NFS:U2 and NFS:MW '05 are my favourites. Thinking about the time I played these games: christmas with my family, driving with my bicycle through autumn leaves on the way to my best gf, listening to the music while doing homework, long nights with cola and candy...
I have played NFS 3 Hot pursuit, NFS Hot pursuit 2, NFS Underground, NFS Most wanted(2005), NFS Most wanted 2012..... It's been a long time that I haven't played any racing game.

I will say my top five NFS games (that I've played) are: 1) Most Wanted (2005) 2) Underground I (I'm that weirdo that always likes the first game more than the second; sorry MW2 and Halo 2) 3) Carbon 4) Hot Pursuit 2 5) Heat (It actually brought me back to an earlier time where there were fun storylines in NFS and with my husband being from Miami, he had so much fun watching me play!) 🖤 Cheers to those of us who have been playing games for decades and are cherishing our childhood together!
I'm born in 1995 but I have played 1994 need for speed game just thinking of my golden days , no study , no problems living peace full , less population area about 7-8 families is village etc . ♥️♥️
My brother and me used to play Most Wanted as Kids. One of the best time i spend With him. I‘m sure that i will get a ps2 and nfs Most wanted again. One of my all Time favourite games ❤❤
I did not know I'm one of the premier players of Need 4 Speed Porsche Unleashed, Need 4 Speed High Stakes and Need 4 Speed Hotpursuit 2. Both are very memorable of my childhood.
Remember playing the original need for speed with my dad, I was always the diablo and he always had the 911, can't remember what console it was on at the time but was amazed by the graphics
I've been playing 'Need for Speed Heat' on my mates PS4 for the last year with a steering wheel, cockpit etc. and love it. It's easy to play a game and like it and forget how much devolopment has gone into it over many years. Nice video.
hot pursuit 2 was everything, the exotic cars, beautiful varied tracks, and man the music, it was perfection...then followed by underground 1 and 2 also perfection with the tuner aesthetic... really hope unbound nails it edit* shout out to the ps2 as well man getting all these entries well beyond its life
My childhood has to go to NFS Underground, that was the first game from the Nfs franchise i ever played, i can still hear the young me yelling at the other racers.
The magic of these games died after high stakes. The awesome in house techno music and arcade style fun along with split screen were all things I loved. High stakes was amazing, it took NFS 3's game and added to it. Hometown and aquatica or redrock ridge and all of their music tracks have a special place in my heart. I remember 1998 playing NFS 3 on my dads computer using a joystick while racing my little brother. Man... That or playing the PSX version while staying at my cousins in 99. The 90s were the golden era of all gaming genres.
I played road and track presents on my windows 97 or something. I'm 30 now but, NFS:U2 (Ps2), NFS:HP 1 and 2 (OGs on computer and Ps2) and 2 remastered for xbox360. They're just not the same anymore. Most wanted black edition on my ps2 was great. Carbon on my ps2 was ok, Pro street on my ps2 was the first NFS game I had I couldn't play through until the end. I just couldn't stay into the game.
Underground 2 is my fav. I was, at that time, either a Junior or senior in high school, getting my first car, f&f was still huge and it was a great era to just be getting into my own cars.
Growing up on Gran Turismo 1 and 2, Need for Speed 2 thru Carbon, and Forza motorsport 1 to 3....Need for Speed High Stakes was one of the hardest games I've ever played. To get Gold on the final two tournaments involving 911Turbo/Diablo/F50 and then CLK-GTR/Mac F1 GTR required precision ive never before experienced even in sims like Forza. One mistake in the 5min, 4 lap races basically cost you the race. You also were fighting against rubber band effect by the computer the whole race. If I remember correctly, there were 5 races in each tournament with a cumulative points ranking. The game was way too difficult for my 9yr old self when it came out in '99. Didnt complete the game 100% until 2021.
A lot of people like to cite the “Golden Age” of NFS as being Underground-Carbon. I’d actually say it’d be NFS3-Prostreet. Hot Pursuit-Hot Pursuit 2 was a really good stretch of games in the classic era, and Prostreet was good as far as changes of pace go. The first real downward turn of the series was Undercover.
NFS Underground 2 is always my classic favorite, and I still love NFS Heat today and still play it. But I'll probably switch to the new NFS game. I love all the custom comic book graphics. And I'm sure they will expand it all in this game. I can't wait to get into it. As long as Need For Speed games always have deep & fresh car customization options and a truly fun arcade-style racing experience with the game engine. NFS will always be my #1 racing video Game.. I will note that Riders Republic is my current favorite game for racing anything. The Rocket Wing races are so intense when it comes to hitting those inside corners at full boost. But this type of race is in 3 dimensions. You want your trail to be the tightest string through a bunch of cheerios. 3D racing is really really fun and really really hard in riders Republic. You have to have a good grasp on 2d racing knowledge to even begin to compete with the best that have already figured it all out. NEED for Speed has always been my favorite, if I could tell the game team 1 thing, it would be, PLAY RIDERS REPUBLIC!!, and it will make all the DLC Content you want to add EASY. It will explode all the game designer's minds with tons of creative ideas. Make it happen! For the love of NFS!!! We have to keep up with the pack and be innovative at the same time if we ever want NFS to survive into the deep future! I still see an untapped market . I Believe in the Need For Speed ! ! !
You could see somewhat of a decline after Underground 2. There were a few ok games in between, but it was up and down over the years. I haven't played Heat, but it definitely gave me Underground 2 vibes. Cool they went back to that style of game.
Yeah, I'm 26 and played from Porsche unleashed to pro street as a child. Heat is the only modern one I played, and it's pretty good. Pros: you need to buy your cars and upgrades (I personally prefer this type of setup), great selection of cars, amazing customization, nice risk/reward system to get XP. Cons: brake to drift physics (I prefer U1/U2/mw/carbon physics), steering is kinda twitchy, drift events are pretty broken, some boring missions. Good game overall.
started with underground 1, still know the feeling when i convinced my mother to let me have the shiny green underground 2. dopamin lvl was on an all time high xd. the hours i put into those games in my childhood with a best friend, taking turns, provoking police and trying to escape for as long as we could. and we always had a blast pressing x or whatever to slow down time, a splitsecond before we crashed into a police car, which kinda cracked the physics and - with the right timing - banged the other car all over the place :D. one felt like a truck with tons of weight behind it. man good times.
@@THEGAMELIST yes! The physics in all those new games is.. i don’t know, the handling is so bad… at least the old ones are more like assetto corsa/dirt3/rally 2.0 or any other high quality racing/drifting game. For example in NFU 2016, you could play with a controller but it was a fight i tell ya, just steering a little too much and car is drifting.. like what? They don’t know what they’re making and don’t care either, they just want money.
@@FiwweB00i i was thinking the same thing. The gameplay from the old ps1 games are actually more believable and better than the new ones. In any case, you can easy see how the series took a 180 degrees turn after NFS underground and they never looked back. As much as I loved Underground and most wanted, to me the best thing about NFS was driving cars in those pretty tracks in the mountains or canyons.
@@tealuxe Yeah, and not only that, I think nfsu and nfsu2 had so much better physics than the new games, for example Need for speed 2016, the physics are so bad I hated myself for even buying the game. Like, it was made for people with steering wheels or something, yet I played with steering wheel and it sucked donkey ass, and drifting for example was really really bad if you compare it to the nfsu/nfsu2 car drifting physics, felt more like a bedrock on a road. Since 2017, I haven't bought a single game from EA that is NFS related, they won't go back, so won't I.
@@FiwweB00i I feel you. To me the last NFS I played was Payback and at some point I asked myself why I was even playing such a crappy game. You can go at 200mph and take a sharp turn just pressing A or X one time, like wth, I know it's arcade but it just feels really cheap and breaks the immersion. And let's not talk about the cringy story. Hopefully they'll go back one day to their roots.
God I love 2010 hor pursuit, to me that game was years ahead of it's time, with some of my favorite driving physics of any game to date. It's a real shame that now whenever I try to start the remastered game on my pc it instantly crashes after the intro screen and I could never find a fix
2010 Hot persuit was the best and honestly (ONLY) Good game, its the one racing game i still play from time to time, the way the powers feel, the nitro sound and everything is just marvelous

In fact, Need for Speed: Underground 2 didn't have the mobile version. It's just Fast and Furious: Fugitive with the mods to make it look like.
New Subscriber 🥰
I played NFS High Stakes back in the day like no other 😍
Carbon holds a special place in my heart. MW too
I've been playing 'Need for Speed Heat' on my mates PS4 for the last year with a steering wheel, cockpit etc. and love it. It's easy to play a game and like it and forget how much devolopment has gone into it over many years. Nice video.
I remember playing 2012 most wanted for hours when I was a kid
Still nothing has come close to the thrill of high stakes and Porsche, the feeling of truly putting it all on the line
Great Video ! Nostalgica !
Yes, great video.
11:00 This game was my childhood. Spent every day playing it.
Same
My memory and favourite NFS hot pursuit 2
Need For Speed : Most Wanted
Best one i have ever played
Very good! Do you need to play all the games to assemble this video?
The era of Most Wanted, Carbon and Pro Street... damn
Rivals was my last, lol i remember playing it on very low graphics option and it would still lag, good old days 😌
hot pursuit 2 was everything, the exotic cars, beautiful varied tracks, and man the music, it was perfection...then followed by underground 1 and 2 also perfection with the tuner aesthetic... really hope unbound nails it
edit* shout out to the ps2 as well man getting all these entries well beyond its life
as a kid i used to play Most Wanted 2012, seeing the map makes me feel really nostalgic.
NFS Underground was the best part of my Childhood.
me 2 she was my first nfs game on my first nfs it was super amazing dude
All time favourite need for Speed Underground and 2 and most wanted 205 version and need for Speed carbon these 4 games are legandary ❤️
Need for speed hot pursuit 2010 is my favourite and while I admit it is not the best game in the series it is still super fun
Porsche Unleashed for PS-1 and Underground 1 for PS-2-icon's of arcade games.
NFS III hot pursuit will always be the best arcade racer ever made
A great game for sure. I remember playing this game a lot back in the days.
Although I wasn't born in those times need for speed high stakes is my favorite
A good gamer is not defined by their victories, but by their ability to recover from their losses.
Underground and underground 2 for me are probably the best because they are proper street racing games awesome and gd memories as well 😊
Yes, I agree.
I didn't know NFS mw 2005 is available but in future is sadly not available anymore in mobile😢😢
Most wanted 2005 is my number 1 favorite nfs
I forgot just how many versions of NFS there were! 🤯
I now knew that my mom was a big NFS fan
What happened to EA now? They use to make such great games earlier.
They are just thinking about money these days.
THE FUCKING CEO MAN, THE FUCKING CEO!
Carbon on my ps2 was ok,
Pro street on my ps2 was the first NFS game I had I couldn't play through until the end. I just couldn't stay into the game.
This is so nostalgic video 😢❤
Underground 2 is my fav. I was, at that time, either a Junior or senior in high school, getting my first car, f&f was still huge and it was a great era to just be getting into my own cars.
My fav is nfs mw 2005 and currently playing the remastered version of this game.
2000-2006 was the best era of need for speed.
Nope..2000 to 2008
@@sharvingb ok but pro Street sucked.
2000 - 2013. Rivals was decent tho.
@@Retroisbackkkkknope
@@Maximus20778 payback and heat were good tbh
Bro 2002 need for Speed was my main childhood game never forget that game
My childhood ;: NFSMW ❤️❤️
Most wanted was way ahead of a game for 2005
NFS Heat plays on the
Xbox one, Xbox series S and, X
PlayStation 4, PS5 all consoles
Newbie here😆, started playing from 2015
Most Wanted Black Edition 2005 & Underground 2, the best duo ever 🔥
Crazy how downhill NFS went aftet 2000s
Underground 2, Underground, Most Wanted and Carbon are the best ever! ❤

Prostreet is the worst NFS game at all history, even worse than FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction.
How has it only gone worse tho, i would rather play the ones in the beginning than the last ones.. and NFSU2 was the best game
Yeah, Underground 2 is amazing!!
After Hot Pursuit 2 I stopped playing NfS till 2010
God I love 2010 hor pursuit, to me that game was years ahead of it's time, with some of my favorite driving physics of any game to date. It's a real shame that now whenever I try to start the remastered game on my pc it instantly crashes after the intro screen and I could never find a fix
I played every need for speed on Playstation 1 and 2 and I really miss them.
Most wanted and hot poursuit ! 🔥
2010 Hot persuit was the best and honestly (ONLY) Good game, its the one racing game i still play from time to time, the way the powers feel, the nitro sound and everything is just marvelous
