Ive had a lot of guitars and was leaning on a comparable Martin including 000s and BTTe outperformed them all. That bottom end and harmonic tones coming out of this guitar is brilliant.
Dont kid yourself into thinking this is a beginner guitar to kick around and loosely pass around at camp fires.This guitar rocks and well suited to Americana roots music and fingerpicking.

My cat fell asleep in my arms listening to this one. Maybe its a sign.
Spruce is good for volume but kind of lacks character IMO. I have a koa GS mini and I absolutely adore the sound of it. Hope you ended up getting the walnut!
