Time hun don't force him to do anything to early walking and trotting is going to be your best friend! I also suggest watching videos on how people run and training videos there all over the internet
Every youtuber u watch doesn't video and automatically upload that day videos take hours to video and edit this one being 22 mine long probably took her a month especially how much she covered
I don’t know if Rodeo has a drug tester there for the horses. However, be careful what you give them before a performance. At the APHA World Show a couple years back fed her horse M&M’s before their class. They got drug tested and failed because M&M’s.
There is absolutely no possible way the horse would fail from anything in M&M’s! They 100000% have it something else. They are completely natural so whatever you were told is a lie

I observed a picture and noticed the device in her hand and I lost respect for this rider using that to get her horse to go faster. I am not proud of that and believe that the women in this sport using those aids are a deterrent to the welfare of horses
