All they could've done was enforce more safety, and probably not use the sample that was used in creating said cascade, it's source is something questionable when the result is this

Some of it sounds like a slowed down version of levi-civita, and I love it.
I think that's exactly what it is, a sort of main theme that you hear variations of at various points throughout a lot of his work, it's really cool how he's able to connect it all together.

@@valoch3187 Nah, he'll only need to give permission to the mod maker, and then the mod maker adds triggers to when and where the music plays. He can do it multiple times in the mod if he so wishes

After freeman saved the earth from combine somehow they could scavenge the leftovers of the combine technology for the benefit of the earth's defense whenever the combine attacks again

that art work is really fucking good. reminds me of that early 2000's grundgy cartoon aesthetic. fun to think about what half life 2 would be as one a cartoon over a game series. also, sick fucking jams!

Well, half life 1 does have a lot of AKIRA refs throughout the game, and although I dont think HL2 has any, is could just be a coincidence.
She might fight like her now too...
Actually thinking about it, their stories are rather similar now.
Both started as just rebel companions to the protagonist, but then their lives were co-opted by bigger players and ended up being far more important to the overall plot .
In regards to the thumbnail, a super tropey "all the characters team up in the final fight!" would actually be AWESOME in a Half-Life game. Imagine all these guys (Minus G-Man probably) against the king advisor in Half-Life 3!
The fuck you mean king advisor? The leader of the Universal Union would not almost definity NOT be an advisor. The advisors are the leaders of Combine forces on CAPTURED planets. So, they may be an even more powerful entity that controls the Universal Union. Maybe a further evolution of the Advisor...
what if you made a Entropy: Zero custom song or something? I think it'd be pretty neat. it'd be creepy at some parts with a bit of action like the game itself and it'd be nice with all the hype for EZ:2

Also, look at the group difference between the resistance and the combine. There's only Breen and an advisor on the side of the combine. Whereas, on the resistance side there's: Gordon, Barney, Alyx, Dog, Mossman, Kleiner, Magnusson, Eli, Odessa, G-man, Gnome Chomsky, Father Gregori, Lost Coat fisherman, Uriah and Lamarr.
Really like that in the artwork the ol' fisherman from Lost Coast is there.
