I've had some older sets of Vipers with the worn down dots that I liked. It just takes so long to get them there. I wish Ultra would make a dotless version.
If the boards are playing fast enough to not need the vipers I typically swap to a viper B. I love how they play without the dots. What bag are you reviewing next?
I love the Viper Bs also. I think my next review will be the Fire Assault bags. I have quite a few bags that I need to review. I wish I had time to do more than one a week.
@@MikesBags i agree and if I'd only played with a new viper i probably wouldn't like the bag but once broken in they're amazing... but i think all bags are better when broken in
Yes, there are several Strive bags that I want to review. The Puma is one of them. Not sure when though. Too many bags to review and not enough time. 😁
The regular Vipers would be at the top of my list. The Viper R would be second. The Viper B would be a very close third. Viper C would be a distant fourth. I did not like the C as much as the other ones. Let me know how you like the Widow X. I've been looking at getting a set of those.
Most of the bags that I review and don't plan on throwing, I end up trading for other bags to review. It helps keep the cost of the bags down. However, I do have some sets I don't throw that don't really have any trade value. I would consider donating those.
@@MikesBags that would be amazing. There’s some newer players where I play that can’t afford bags and there’s also kids that come play while we are warming up that don’t have bags. I would love to be able to help them out with some bags. Can I email you to see if we could work something out?
nice video. i see the cornhole solutions board. i ordered my set about 2 weeks ago. waiting to get them in. i see they dont bounce but you got the pucks. any review coming for the boards versus the previous one?
The previous boards were ones that I built. They were getting wore out and needed replacing. With the price of wood going up, it was cheaper for me to buy a set than build one. The pucs are there to keep the boards from moving. They don't bounce but because I'm on concrete they do move/shift a little when I'm pulling bags out of the hole or I accidently kick the boards. The pucs keep them in place. I plan on doing a review of the pucs. I want to do a review on the boards but I want to compare them to the more expensive boards. In order to do that, I need to find a set of the expensive boards to use so I can compare the two. I'm working on that. I found a set I could borrow but they are not local to me and shipping the boards back and forth is absurd. A review of the boards is part of the plan, I just don't know when that will happen.
To me, the older series Vipers would slink through but the newer stamped bags don't do that as well. The more broke in and worn out they get, the better they are at slinking through bags.
Finally! The dots wear down to the point you don’t even notice them and they won’t kick like when new.

And it doesn't take long before those dots to wear down and be smooth out of the hand
I understand. It makes me wonder why they are there if we all want them to wear down and essentially go away.

Will you be reviewing strive puma at all?

@@MikesBags I hear you on that. I'm enjoying the channel, keep up the good work!
Thanks!
How would you rank the Viper lineup (overall performance, normal conditions)?
I just invested in a Viper R set, as well as a Widow X set.

Thanks man! Will do!
Hey Mike, would you be willing to donate or sell bags you don’t like or don’t use?

Yes, send me an email. We can definitely work something out.

I totally feel like the sticky dot feeling goes away after you've thrown them a while. They definitely are super sticky at first
Vipers are too fast for me honestly
They are fast. I like to use them when the boards get sticky.
I definitely disagree with you about about squeezing it between 2 bags I think it slinks right through 99% of the time
To me, the older series Vipers would slink through but the newer stamped bags don't do that as well. The more broke in and worn out they get, the better they are at slinking through bags.
@@MikesBags yes i have 20-21 vipers that slither , i think you just need to try a broken in set
My bags are broke in. I think it all depends on what you are comparing them to.
