In all honesty, I love how the ferryman at first phase is like a rhythm check, keep your tempo and you’ll live, for now. The music absolutely captures that as you are really dancing with him and trying to keep it steady. Until long has been long enough.

I originally wished for this boss fight to be harder, but looking more into his character it makes sense why he would let you just heal and stand there sometimes. He doesn't see it as a fight at all and treats it like a dance.

Your soundtracks for Deepwoken are absolutely amazing. The music/ambience is one of the things that made the game so immersive.
Fun fact: A sarabande is a Spanish dance danced in 3/4 time, and this song is in 3/4 time, same with "Dance, If You Can!"
Idk, having more than 150 hours in this game really makes me appreciate the amount of work that goes into it along with the music. I hope to hear your works of art for layer 2!

Ferryman is the Strongest in Deepwoken Verse, u might have asked what Ferryman from ROGUE LINEAGE is doing in Deepwoken.
There might be 3 Posibilities!
1. Its his Prime State, basically when he was young, and Ferryman is Importal and lives from Generation to Generation and got killed by someone strong and was send to Death where he gives new lives to people.
2. Ferryman is so fast with Lighting that he traveled through time and made himself young (he is a snake) basically ye, and is now in New Generation thats Deepwoken, and is now having fun there, cuz it was boring for him to stay at Death Room for his entire life.
3. Its not Ferryman, At the same time it is, but its a Different Universe. Basically Ferryman from Different Universe. MULTIVERSE IS REAL!
And why is Ferryman the strongest in deepwoken?
1. He is a Lighting user but way stronger, and u almost cant touch him (game made him easier for players) but if it was a FFA fight over all the bosses, then Ferryman would just tp around using his lighting skills, and when his about to get touched he just teleports to different position!
2. HEALTH
Ferryman has 15.000 Hp if you Solo him.
Enforcer has 4.000 Hp
Primadon has 60.000 Hp
Duke has 15.000 Hp
Lord Serpent has 35.000/75.000 Hp
3. DAMAGE TO MOBS
Ferryman does 95 Damage with his Grand Javelin to Players and lets say Ferryman is level 60.
Shatted Katana M1 is 34Dmg per hit, and at Level 60, Ishin Ring, you do 360 Dmg m1 to Mobs and 37Dmg to Players. If we remove Ishin ring its 288 Damage.
Basically at Level 60 the Multiplier is 8x34 and always 8x.
Enforcer Axe is 432 and with Ishin ring its 518
Dagger is 192 and with Ishin ring 230
Ferryman Grand Javelin 95x8 is 780 Damage per hit and he shots out 3 of them 2.380 Damage Total to Mobs, so he can basically one shot most mobs like:
LionFish
Owl
Sharko
Tresher
Ferryman does 129 Damage with his Thunder Bolts from Sky if hit with all and if you do 129x8 its 1.032 Damage, this one is weaker but it can one shot a Sharko.
Ferryman does 40 Damage with the Teleport Blade move, and if you do 40x8 its 320 Total and he does that 3 times so 960 Total, he cant one shot any mobs except the Jellyfish and Angels!
Ferryman m1 does 192 Damage (Kurlian Knife + Level 60, if his using Ishin ring (prob) then he does 20% More Damage on all Moves and m1s)

Now lets imagine a fight between Enforcer and Ferryman.
Enforcer is a Smart Monster that uses a Axe thats kinda slow.
in other hand, ferryman is very fast and has good reaction time to even teleport to different position when his about to get hit 1cm away.
What im trying to say is that Enforcer wont even be able to Touch Ferryman.
1. Ferryman will just keep spamming his moves.
2. Enforcer is Slow
3. Enforcer will pull him but so what? you think ferryman wont do a thing for around 0.9seconds when he sees his being pulled? So he will just teleport away.
now the Damage output: Grand Javelin is a Guard Breaker for Enforcer, cuz Enforcer only has 80% Posture and Grand javelin does 90%.
Ferryman just has to use Javelin 5 times to Kill Enforcer, without breaking a sweat or putting a effort.
Same goes to every Depth Mob ingame.
Now lets Imagine a fight between Primadon and Ferryman.
Primadon has 60.000Hp while Ferryman has 15.000
So Primadon Foot Stomp does 50 Damage and 50x8 its 400 Damage to Monsters Total and now 3x it its 1.200 Damage if he hits with all 3.
Primadon Right Foot Stomp does 80 Damage now 80x8 its 640 and he hits once only.
Primadon Grab throw does 90 Damage Total and now 90x8 total its 720 Damage.
Primadon rock throw does 40 Damage Each so 40x8x3 so its 960 Damage Total.
Primadon Punch does 70 Damage now 70x8 its 560 Damage.
Primadon Swipe Front Kick does 90 Damage now 90x8 is 720 Damage total.
Now lets focus on the Fight.
Primadon Multi Front stomp might hit Ferryman once, and then just teleport away, and Primadon is kinda slow and he just stands still when his performing the multi stomps.
So Ferryman will use this chance and attack Primadon with Javelin and does 2.380.
Then Primadon takes one rocks and throws at ferryman, which he dodges one by one and activates Lighting Bolts up Primadon and deals 1.032 Damage.
Ferryman takes his distance and dosnt aproach Primadon and plays it smart.
Primadon is pissed off and runs to Ferryman.
Ferryman teleports to different Position and uses Javelin again about 4x3, throws 12 Javelins and deals 9.520 Damage total.
Primadon runs to Ferryman and uses Foot Swipe, but it was so slow that Ferryman dodges it with Eyes closed.
Ferryman uses lighting bolts again from Sky and deals 1.032 Damage again.
Then Primadon uses rocks again but throws 9 instead of 3.
Ferryman dodges 8 but didnt release that there was another rock behind the one he dodged, and gets brutally hit.
Primadon has dealt 320 Damage to Ferryman.
Ferryman takes it easy and aproaches Primadon with Lighting Blades.
Ferryman hits 1, Primadon tries to use Stomp but Ferryman dodges it in time and does lighting blade again and dodges another stomp but since he was so focused on legs.
Ferryman didnt see the Hand Grab so Primadon Grabs Ferryman and throws him very hard to ground.
But Ferryman Teleported to another place in time, and just sits, looking at Primadon to think about a idea to Eliminate it.
Primadon throws rocks to Ferryman and runs to him at the same time, then Ferryman teleports to another side.
Ferryman creates 2 Clones and Those 2 Clones and Ferryman use Grand Javelin and hits Primadon 20 Times, dealing 15.200 Damage to Primadon.
Then Primadon screams on rage mode and rushes on Ferryman very fast.
Primadon jumps and punches the ground where ferryman is, but he is gone again.
Primadon looks everywhere but he cant find ferryman.
Then Primadon feels lighting on his Neck and sees Ferryman on his shoulders.
Ferryman says bang, and shots grand javelin into Primadons Eye, blinding him. and dealing 5.000Damage Total
Primadon is raging trying to find Ferryman again who teleport to different position.
Ferryman is above Primadons Head, and and stabs him on his head with Kurlian Knife and shots out lighting inside his Body. Dealing around 10K Damage.
Primadons Animal Instinct hits and he runs back to Water.
Ferryman (what a wild animal, thats the right choice he did)
Ferryman Hp: 14.680
Primadon Hp: 15.836
Basically Primadon is very slow to be able to hit Ferryman.
Now Lets Focus on the Fight between Duke vs Ferryman.
Duke activates his shield, and uses teleport hard fist and hits ferryman with suprise.
Ferryman then starts multi teleporting to diff positions spamming Grand Javelin for 3seconds and hits 70% of them and gets Dukes Shield Off, cuz Javelin does huge Posture Damage.
Duke then knows just how strong Ferryman is and goes all out from start.
Ferryman then creates a clone and tries to confuse duke with letting his clones also teleport.
Duke dosnt know who the real one is from those 2.
Duke then kills both of them easily and says (WAIT BOTH OF THEM WERE CLONES?)
Ferryman then just pierces Dukes neck by using assasination with kurlian knife dealing 40% of his Hp. (9.000 Hp Left)
Duke then jumps high and uses his Grand Skiever but Ferryman uses Grand Javelin and those 2 Clash, but then Ferryman creates another clone and lets him also use it.
Duke gets hit by 2 of them.
Duke then surrenders and tells ferryman not to kill him, cuz he has to save Etris.
Ferryman dosnt care and just spams Grand Javelin on him.
U might ask why i made Duke fight so lazy and easy, its because Duke has nothing to counter Ferryman tbh and he is like Ferryman so he can just get on him easier.
Idk about Lord from Etris but i can tell you that Ferryman will also beat him.
