NONE of them should have ever been released from prison. NOT ONE. Those women had a life sentence handed to them by all of those men. They will spend the rest of their lives with the scars & memories in their minds and hearts. Five years? Three years? Not good enough. It will never be good enough. And you know for a fact that so many other men were never arrested and anyone that was involved in ANY ASPECT of that entire situation should have been made to be held accountable.
Those that did serve "time", the short sentences were a slap in the face of all the victims. AND a disgrace ON their county and legal system that allowed it.
And were any of them treated in prison the way most sex crime prisoners are treated? Man I wish someone from inside could leak those details. Yes, I'm that woman that wants to hear they were abused in the same fashions they abused others. Cloute only gets you so far inside, and abusers of any kind that hurt women and children tend not to do so well in there. Especially if you're a "pretty boy"!!!
That's how our world is though right? Harm comes to those at the hands of others, and rarely does the world do everything in its power to protect. If you have enough money or power, you may never even face any repercussions. Trafficking is worse now than ever, for Women & Children ... which includes BOTH sexes. Young and teen males are even at more risk now than ever before. Yet the world continues to love and fatten the pockets of the Adult Entertainment industry right? Anything you want to see, it's out there. But the next time you hit PLAY? Think about the faces of those you are getting excited by. The other day I read a comment from a woman, I think she was Arab: Why did those women go out with them? Aren't they out for a night of sex? Seungri's associate at the time said: If those comments are a crime, all Korean men are guilty. So the perception is that these men did not commit any crimes. Even going deeper and admitting that the girls were objectively forced against their will, they still don't consider it anything serious. The consideration of women is so low that harming a woman is not considered such a serious thing. Regarding how rapists are treated in prisons, I doubt that this also applies to Korean prisons, at least not for the rape of a girl who went with her friends to a nightclub.

Now that this has been exposed into the light, there should be some policies, restrictions or even how the bars in Gangnam operate. (I’m not an expert on policy making, but they can’t and shouldn’t continue to turn a blind eye on this anymore).

@@BrokenNoah Of course, it better be a local or national rule or policy. That was just an example. In the last part of the documentary, one worker in a bar in Gangnam mentioned that it's still prevalent - and it's probably not with celebrities but some high-ticket or VIPs that are doing it.
There's a massive mindset shift that needs to happen. And now that the public is aware - not just the Korean public, but the international public has become more aware with all the documentaries (There's also one in Netflix) - it poses a big challenge on us the public and the people in position.

I think deeply down, Seungri knows that will never happen. He seems more pitful and living a delusional life.
