Its probably cause this can't do even half the stuff stream deck can do . and if u have an iphone u can get stream deck for free too or pay $2 a month for unlimited buttons and have all the functionality the stream has

Thanks for the detailed video. TASK: Television with WINDOWS 11 minicomputer >>> FritzBox television, SKY, DAZN, ... >>> ANDROID tablet is to be used for remote control for SKY/DAZN/... selection and channel selection/deselection or .Channel direct selection and volume change.
IS SUCH AN APPLICATION POSSIBLE if you have the devices running in the home network.
So simply remote control of a TV with Windows PC via Android tablet with touch portal in the WLAN.
Would be nice if you had a tip.
I believe there is already a smart home integration on TouchPortal, Last I had was yeelight. But I think there should be an IFTTT function now.

Licence IS valid for any device linked to your Google or iOS account: it's only not transferable from Android to iOS or vice versa. So no you DON"T need separaste licence for each device; unless one is Android and the other is iOS.

Seems way over complicated compared to stream Deck, Is there a way to set it up for simple FCPX buttons? I cannot figure it out for the life of me..
In Touch Portal - I would go in using the Run & Open menu then go to Start Application function. from there I will click the "..." locate the actual program and we are all set. The button would then open the program
Can you use this with the PC connected to Ethernet and your phone on Wi-Fi?, or must the desktop application be on WLAN?. I tried connecting from my phone (connected to WiFi) and the PC connect to Ethernet (both on the same router), but only seems to work if the PC and phone are connected to wifi in my case. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong though.
Hmmm I believe this should still work in the same way. unless your router is split by bandwidth. Some has it split between 1GB and 5GB hence in a way these 2 don't see each other.

Do I need my PC connected to wifi? Because I'm unable to connect it to my phone as my PC is connected via LAN cable.
Hi Deeshoom - no that is not required, as long as the LAN connection is the same as your Wifi network it would work.
Currently this is my set-up my tab is connected via Wifi and my PC is on LAN. I just made sure that they are connected through the same network.
Id like to know how you got that live preview on there.
Hey Jay, most definitely no worries - its easy as going to "On Event" then select "Scene Output to Icon Event" in the OBS section - it should be at the bottom - then set use to "Current Scene" -output as image every "1 Frames per second" with "medium" is my recommended settings. Hope this works
Its not getting connected between my laptop (ethernet) and my ipad! I have pro version on ipad. I dont wanna connect it through usb cable as well, could u plz advice what to do in this case?
Hi Taha Tabikh- it could be due to a couple of things. But 1st lets ensure that the iPad is connected to the same router as where your PC is.
If we have that settled, check iPad Touch Portal settings and ensure that it's set to Connection with desktop using WIFI and the TP program on your PC is set to "wlan" (it is shown on the bottom left of TP window).
Check that the IP address between your PC and iPad within Touch portal is the same. your PC Touch Portal will register that in the lower left of the window.
If all of these matches - reboot both devices. these should connect.
If symptoms persist - we'll have to know the complete description of the error. lets go to TP discord (click the "discord" word on the top right corner of the TP PC window) there should be a host of awesome admins and community members there that can help within your time zone.

Hi There - so for the free version, I believe they changed it to the default page only. so unfortunately its only 8 buttons...

I feel touch portal is much better than stream deck. Even if the price were the same.
not even close. touch portal is nothing but a glorified macro keyboartd. stream deck has hundres of functions that touch portal could never dream of doing

It is however its a bit of work to set-up. A combination of events and flows should do the trick
how to close application on touchportal? i use the close application function however it does not work

Hey there Declan, this should auto connect to SLOBs once both programs are opened. no extra step required. Hope this helps

@@fpsalien Hi There - from my understanding TP and SLOBS if you are running the latest version is fully integrated and should connect automatically.
No set up is required, but note that if you are running 1 program in admin mode, the other program should also be in admin mode.

hey there - try to check if you are connected on the same wifi network.. make sure that the laptop/pc is in the same network as with the phone.

In touch artal in my desktop in lower left i have tow choice ip eth3 and wlan3 which i should choose?
@@user-yk2wb2zo8x on the lower left we should choose eth3| then your IP. After this check your settings then go to security, you should see the list of authorized devices.
close your mobile TP and open it again. it should auto connect to your PC. your TP in your PC would prompt "Device * with access token * wants to connect" click allow
