What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It is a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound.

The reason we don’t speak Irish is because we got invaded by the English so they took out launage away and now we speak English 💕💕
I know fluent Irish but I still speak English
English is the language I was born with
Great video on my homeland, cheers! Just a bit of help on the pronunciation of “Taoiseach,” it’s pronounced more like “Tee-shock” rather than “Ta-oh-ee-sheech” like how it’s spelt.
Edit: Also, after watching later into the video, the reason Irish is very rarely spoken is because back when England ruled Ireland, they were very oppressive against Irish culture and tradition, with the native Irish language being outlawed for many years. Over time the Irish population became discouraged of speaking Irish and hence why the majority of people to this day don’t speak it.
Again, after watching further into the video, the reason Northern Ireland and Southern split was due to the Anglo-Irish treaty of 1922 which brought an end to the Irish War of Independence (Could be said this war was a continuation of the 1916 Easter Rising). As stated earlier, England was very oppressive to Ireland over the years, but only towards the native Catholic population. The Protestant minority population who had the majority of control in Ireland as apart of Britain back then opposed Irish Independence as it would have meant they lost the majority of their power over the Catholics. The Anglo-Irish treaty then split Ireland in two to appease the Protestant majority in the North East part of the island who wanted to remain apart of the UK so they could keep their power over the Catholics in the domain that became “Northern Ireland.”
There’s been many protests and uprisings caused by both Catholics and Protestants since the split, most notably “The Troubles” which lasted from disputedly either the 1950/60/70s - 1998 despite the official British Military reports not claiming the operation in Northern Ireland to have officially ended yet meaning it’s still continuing to this day.
Thank you for this. This is why I do fact videos!
Someone send this to Niall horan
No
Which direction should i send it 😆
Yeah that’s not what ireland us all about
I’ll send you over the deal and rail the back doors off you
The polish is because there are a lot of polish immigrants in Ireland. After the EU was expanded in 2004, lots of Eastern Europeans moved to Western Europe.
Ah! That's interesting
Taoiseach is pronounced “Tea-shock” and saw a comment saying you say “Ireland” wrong but you say it correct.
Polish is spoken more than irish as we welcomed many Polish during the Celtic tiger and still have many coming over. Irish isn’t really spoken unless in “Gaeltacht” areas where it is solely spoken.
Catholic Vs Protestant was and still is a big issue mostly Northern Ireland houses Protestant as they bore most of the plantation from England and are still part of the UK so there was always clashes between Catholic and Protestants. Some work places still ask what religion you fall into as to avoid conflict if it is Catholic biased or Protestant biased.
Pretty sure we can drink in public but it’s illegal to be visibly drunk in public
We now have postal codes called “Eircodes” we used to just have addresses and your neighbor would drop you your post if they got it instead.
Ah! So cool! Thanks for filling in the blanks, cause I was not going to figure it out lol 💕
You can’t drunk be drunk in public. Drunk and disorderly
You also can’t drink in public.

HEY REAGAN!! Love this! Video suggestion: CUPPED WHISPERRING!! LOBE THOS VIDS
Hi Regan 😀
Great facts. You are right about religion being a big factor in Irish life. Many more Catholic's live in Ireland while Protestants dominate Northern Ireland. Relations between the UK and Ireland are generally very good but there were many issues over the UK wanting to leave the European Union.
I hope your day is going well.
Depends on the area in Ireland. Some areas are very religious others not so much. The relationship between Ireland and England is again dependent on the area.
Not anymore the don’t
Hi Regan! Love your videos❤️ Can you do facts about El Salvador as a future video idea😁

The UK tried to take over Northern Ireland
“Tried” bish they took it over lol like fully
The seperation between ireland and Northern Ireland happend because of an irish resitance formed called the IRA who fought with the British in 1916 gaining most of the country back after a debate between ira members e.g Michale Collins and British government later on in 1968 the troubles began when the ira turned into a terrorist organisation (wich is still active today) they killed many innocent people who lived in Northern Ireland to try gain Northern Ireland back the troubles ended in 1998 but the ira are still active in Northern Ireland
At 1:57 it's pronounced tee-shock 😅
Young gal, you crack me up
1:57 pronounced /tee-shuhk/, it literally means “prime minister”

Hey! Irish person here, and this is just a comment I’m leaving to list some facts and/or pronunciation corrections!
1. It’s more pronounced like “crow” then “croke” park.
2. 9:02 I think it would be better for me NOT to go into that… cuz uh… touchy.
Bro your pronunciations of my culture💀
Hi
Around 6 million is inaccurate. 40% of the population isn’t even Irish, but still reside here. And even then, it totals at around the 5 million-ish mark when including everyone.
Ireland is 84.5% white Irish, dunno where you got 40% not being Irish
Beautiful eyes
Taoiseach = teeshock
I'm pretty sure gay marriage was legal in ireland since the early 2000s
Hey beautiful Regan! 🙂❤
Newgrange is pronounced new- graynj
I'd say more new grangnje
Pronounced new grange
Dw its pronounced tea-shock
Hey i am from Ireland and you are saying it wrong it is AR land not I erland❤
Yes finally somebody who said it
10:40 - To answer your question regarding why Ireland hasn’t won the contest in 25 years; here it is: With the addition of the ‘Mickey Mouse’ European countries to said contest, they simply cheat via voting for one-another e.g. Latvia gives their number one vote to Lithuania! Belarus gives their number one vote to Russia! etc etc. The Eurovision Song Contest has been ruined since the early 2000s.
And we can't use celebrities cuz it would be unfair
as an Irish person all I have to say is you still have time to take this down jesus christ
North Ireland broke up because it is England's land
I know you don’t need it but it’s not irreeland it’s just ireland
